It’s so crunchy 🍿 How do I get ammo back?
Thank you for playing. You can’t get more ammo. I designed it this way to add difficulty. The game was too easy when you only needed to spam the gun and strafe left to right.
"Insert coin" to start is missing. Anyway, nice shoot'em up with an awasome music, but why the amo is limited ? and why planes feel earthquake ? ;-) Well done !
Thank you for playing. I got a working game, but I agreed it does need some polish and finishes touch. The screen shake was to follow the theme of the jam. It is supposed to represent the explosion. :)

Quite charming ^^ I love the gfx and music ^^ Regarding gameplay I am a bit biased because I play danmakus a lot: why limited ammo ??? I didn't find how to regain some, couldn't beat the boss even sparing a lot of bullets (btw I love the damage effects of the boss, it's awesome). Afterburner could be much faster and give a points reward, that's a great idea :) Lots of potential, and lots of charm :)
Thank you for playing and your feedback. The game was too easy, so I added an ammo counter as a temporary fix. You could spam bullets while moving right to left. Agreed, using the afterburner should give a point multiplicator. Right now, I have a solid base and somewhat clean/organized code. Adding enemy, level and features is not an issue. I might revisit it one day.
Great game. Love the retro feel. Easy to pick up and play. Incorporation of the sound is really well done. Really liked not only the game but appreciate how you carefully laid everything out that you used in your description AND made it so easy to play online without needing to download (yet still making the download available for us to take a peak). Well done.

Cool game. The moment I realized I had a limited amount of ammo it completely changed my spam bullets tactics, followed by losing to the boss because I had no ammo lol
Thank you for playing and your feedback. During testing, I found that someone could just spam bullets. Limited ammo was a temporary fix to increase the difficulty of the game.

I got the 'nice' score! It was fun and gave me some nostalgia of some other games at the same time. So far this game is one of the few entries that I felt like I should keep trying to get a better score and the graphics are good too. On the downside I had to dock points for existing assets in the sound category but its very understandable since I'm awful at music. Team up with a musician in the future and I'm sure you'll do even better!
