Quite difficult, but very fun and very smooth gameplay. I also really like the color palette that was used.
Fantastic game! I found it difficult, but it looks and sounds great.
This is a really nicely polished blaster, great variety, a lovely story, and some surprising moments - all rounded out with great music and sound effects. I found myself coming back for more and more - a great sign!
Excellent from beginning to end. I hope you consider developing this concept further, because it's worth it.
The font you used for text is so close to being perfect; there were some things I couldn't read but I really applaud getting the letters down to 3 x 3. I only managed 3 x 5, and even then I had to go bigger for "M", "N", "Q", and "W".
nice entry! Maybe I'd prefer for enemies to die at one shot or two, sometimes it takes too many shots to kill them.
Art was nice and made good use of the 64x64 restriction.
Thanks Kkrac!
Really awesome palette and feel. Great use of the space and interesting movement choice! I really like it :)
Thanks Jason! I'm glad to hear that ^^
Some day "Old school RPG with Asteroids controls" will take the world by storm, and STONE will have been the founding father of the movement. :D
Wish to be alive to see that XD
I love the screen transition! The colors of the gold room are really striking. Looks great! :D
Many thanks, Aeris. And Yup, I wanted to turn completely the palette of the levels from that point to give the player the sensation of two different levels, and progress. Thought that giving "gold and riches" to the player instead of the previous "gray and nothing" i could achieve that. But maybe it's too much ^^"
This is pretty solid! I suck at the controls tho, kinda wish I could play with twin-stick controls. Great job regardless!
Super idea to implement!
Awesome game! Really impressive you accomplished this all alone. The music was for sure a high point for me!
A lovely game, with excellent art work.
Many thanks armen! I ain't got much drawing skills but i always try to do my best ^^
Well done! This game had a lot of depth and I liked all the exploration. I liked the vibe and atmosphere, even though I couldn't pick up exactly what the story and backstory were.
Thanks Mit-Mit. I wanted to tell a story with only clues around the map, but ended making a strange thing. We all can learn from this :3
It works very well! Kind of reminds me of metroid zero mission in a way ...
Top marks. Nicely done.
Many thanks! It's always great to see positive feedback, I'll take a look at your project, it looks good!
I loved the mix of shooting and exploration. The myterious events where also a super good way to set the mood. I gave the game 5 stars for every category because I'm sure they are well deserved when you can play the game confortably. But WASD only made the game difficult for me as I don't have a qwerty keyboard. Please consider arrow keys support, as its really easy to add alternate keys in the Unity input manager.
Thanks for the advice, I never considered other layouts, it's great advice for this and all my future games ^^
Thanks for your reply! I hope you can push an update so I can fully enjoy the game!
Amazing game ! i don't know what to say more. Everything is perfect !
thank you godmode for the last boss <3
Omg many thanks Shynif. I think it could be better but it's incredible to hear that <3
Really great game here! Challenging and fun… I like the riddles and puzzles that you have to solve to win. I wish, however that there were checkpoints along the way. Really frustrating to have to start from the beginning so often.
Many thanks Cody. I'll put a checkpoint after the first boss when the jam ends. It's true i've already received feedback of that ^^"
I really like this one! The art is nice, the game play is smooth, and it reminds me of a mini metriod game in a spaceship!
many thanks! :D
very good game, I don't know how I opened the door but I opened it haha
totaly love the final result, couldnt catch the story at all but in this low res the details that you could add are amazing!!
Many thanks Pixel ryu! :3
I'm not the best story teller, wanted to tell a story with the details of the game. But I ended making a story that is confusing and hard to understand. Thanks for the feedback. I like this kind of comments like... A lot :3
Amazing! I love the amount of detail put into this, with riddles and everything.
