Did you work in a team?
My girlfriend composed the music for the game and had to playtest every so often, the rest was me. :)
Was the resolution a challenge?
I think the small resolution actually made it easier for me to come up with a very simple game. As I just started game development a few weeks ago, I'm not ready for complex stuff anyway.
What did you learn?
I learned a lot, since this was basically the first real game I ever made. I just followed tutorials so far, so having to solve problems on my own, and not just copying stuff teached me a lot.

Cute yet challenging little game! I included it in my LowRezJam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
Wow, thank you for including my game in the video! It's the first game I ever made, so seeing this really surprised me. Subscribed to your channel! :)
Fun game with great mechanics. Took a bit for my brain to work with the teleportation, I kept wanting to WASD between the squares. Love the music and fun aesthetics of the game. Great work, especially for your first jam/game!
Interensing concept and fun game,
Haha, my hands keep trying to use WASD for movement in the four directions even when my brain told them to use all 9 keys
Same.. so very much same. :D
It looks like there could be some interesting gameplay here, but I felt a little overwhelmed.
It would be great if you could give the player an easy starter level so we have some time to get adjusted to the controls. I was reading the controls right in the middle of battle.
Simple and, as far as I know, an original idea. Must confess I struggled with the keypad control but that's probably something I could get used to. Good job!
Well executed game, I like it a lot!
Seemed easy in the beginning but then the dual red lasers rekted me! Loved it, difficult to get used to the controls but I think it's mostly about habit. Good job! :)
This is your first game?? You should be super proud, it's great. I love the numpad control scheme (I have actually prototyped something similar before) but I can understand why some people might not (like not having a numpad lol). You did really great with the vfx, sfx, etc. You also managed to avoid the #1 gamedev mistake of overscoping your game, so freaking congrats. Godot high five btw :) You get a good rating from me!
A simple concept yet surprisingly difficult. Great use of the 64x64 resolution and theme. Great job for your first game!
This is great, I love the use of the instant teleportation theme, and there's something inherently neat about a control scheme using the numpad. The music is wonderful as well, just the right mix of "let me show you a magic trick" and "the trick is not dying". Well done.
I liked the unique control scheme, game felt challenging but balanced. Great visuals, music and addictive gameplay. All round solid entry.
This game is Simple but so much fun. the controls were lil bit hard to get used to but it was fun to play!
