Lovely visuals! I included it in my LowRezJam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
Awesome! thank you very much! :D
I belive that is a custom engine with render and everything written from groud up. If so, that is a technical marvel, something like a demoscene entry.
Wish you good luck in future projects.
Haha, thank you for the kind words! I wish the same for you! :D
Excellent use of 3d. I usually can't play like this without blood from my eyes, but in this game the brain does not suffer, but thinks out low rez details and so it becomes even better. Perhaps because you don't do all sorts of small things, details in the environment and so on, which at a distance in such a resolution is blurred into a mess of pixels
Thank you very much! :D
Impressed by the binary size. What engine it was?
Haha, thanks! It was written in C using OpenGL.
I think you've executed on 3D better than most games I've seen in this jam. I did want a little more time to get accustomed to the game's control before getting shot at. I was thrown right into a battle with a monster that took my health down to nearly zero, right after turning a corner.
I would work on giving the player a slower difficulty ramp so we aren't overwhelmed at the outset.
Thank you very much! yeah, I totally agree about the difficulty. : )
Felt pretty good to play, definitely got the foundation for something good here. Nice work.
Thank you very much!
Very smooth controls. I love how the bullets are also light sources. Would love to see once it's finished!
Thank you very much! :D. Yeah, I will have to finish it sometime after the jam is done! :)
