I'm not to sure about the gameplay, I really am not quite sure what I'm doing in terms of combat, I just seem to die straight away.
However, I think the visual style of the game is extremely cool and I'd like to see this fleshed out.
Congratulations on making this game !
I've played your game during a live that you can watch here :
The live is timestamped so you can go directly to your game.
I hope the feedback and live reactions will be useful. Keep it up !

What a colorful game!
I'm sucked in combat, but had fun running away from enemies )
I really wanted to like the game but there were too many things that made the experience not so good… Music, the endless loop of a melody that does not resolve is nerve racking after a few minutes. Combat… the lack of visual clues, the fact the enemy moves into your tile… nothing made combat enjoyable. Good work on having a big map but a big map with few map interactions is not also providing enough goals to me. I think there’s good potential in this POC prototype, so looking forward to check on where it moves to.
Many things weren't as polished as I'd like because I really made this game in 2/3 days.
Well, cosidering it was just that time, it’s quite impressive how much you managed to squeeze in. If you carry on with the project I think you can get something really interesting in no time!
I like the retro graphics and the large map you were able to make. The combat really needs feedback from both the player and enemy when both are attacking. I wasn't able to anticipate when the enemy was attacking so spent alot of the time avoiding them instead. The soundtrack could also do with maybe a eight bar loop instead, a little bit grating honestly. But overall good progress, with a few QOL improvements could make it that much better.
Nice combat!
I like tile-based games in general, especially when their combat is fun and has variety. There wasn't a lot of variety in this game's combat, but I think the exploration side of the game adds to the combat and makes it better. Graphics wise I found the colors to be hard on my eyes, especially certain ground tiles, but they still were great. Overall, great game!
Good job!
Nice work! Enjoyed the experience. Extra points for using Pico-8, really love that palette.
wow Its like I was controlling a guy in dwarf fortress ^^ I managed to beat it but I only got 54 score, and I was too dum to find the ruby sword ToT
I like the idea and assets. Well done!
Congrats with finishing the jam, you managed to do quite a bit with the small resolution! :)
