I like the ambience of this game. The way the Filters + Graphics + Music are put together makes the mood on this game very unique! My only critique here is that the character moves very slowly and the enemy doesn't have an HP bar. That second part is a real problem since it kills part of the strategy of the combat side. Other than that Good job :D
Love the atmosphere of the game. The immersion got a bit messy during the battle against the slime though. The background music just doesn't feel battle-ish. Otherwise, nice game.
Also got jumpscared by the slime!
This game has a very interesting atmosphere. In some ways, it reminds me of games like Off, Yume Nikki, Omori, with that constant sense of unsettling (unsettlement? is this a word?). That kinda thing that the game breaks expectations so often that you never know what's going to happen next.
Good work!
Nice work! Gameplay is a little obscure, but atmosphere is working. Onward!
Really interesting game! I loved its crypic and eerie narrative. I wasn't fond of the combat mechanics, but it served its purpose.
I loved this game! Amazed at the depth of emotions that you conveyed in such limited amount of text characters. Was also amazed at the screen effect, never would have guessed that could work in pixels as well as it did. Awesome job! The first battle starting got me good, I jumped.
Nice atmosphere. The CRT effects work quite well, especially in the 64x64 space. The story was well done and compelling and, while I would have liked a bit more complexity in the battles, I'm impressed by all you managed to get done in so short of a time.
Really cool :) the gameplay is simple but it works with the great atmosphere!
