Did you work in a team?
I was alone, still fun tho

Was the resolution a challenge?
Not really, besides not being able to explain things in text. Drawing pixel art for such a low resolution was a fun challenge

What did you learn?
This is the first time I enter a jam that is longer than 2 days. I had a lot of time to learn new stuff instead of trying to apply what I already know as fast as possible. Also as it turns out non-spaghetti code makes everything else 10 times easier :]

Nice simple shooter mechanics really well executed. The predictable behaviour of the enemies and the way they telegraph their shots make it fun diving between cover. The music is really weird and I love it. Feels like a Superhot mini-game, great stuff. :)

Awesome game! I love how the mechanics are new but feel very natural to the player, and it's so well polished for a jam game. Great job!

Great game, very satisfying to play if a little difficult at points.

I loved this!  The mechanics were so tight, which is impressive for a gamejam game - particularly the risk vs. reward of staying out of cover to improve accuracy and moving between cover to divert enemy aim!

I would have liked an ammo/reload system to keep the pressure up.  But I loved how you added a combo system too which adds replayability/speedrun potential.  I wasn't able to finish it, but I'll be coming back to this one!

Thank you, I was considering implementing a reload mechanic but since the game doesn't punish the player for staying in cover for too long in it's current state, it just kinda slowed the game down without being an extra challenge for the player so I decided to keep it out of this version.

Also had speedrunning in mind, my personal best is 1:21.50, you can find the video in the game's page if you are interested :]

This game is awesome. The music and graphics are great. The gameplay is fun. It's quit difficult on some levels

That is such a unique idea you have there!

The controls are responsive, the gameplay is fun, and the music is awesome. I liked how our character's aim is dependent on our movement, it makes the player pay attention to its surroundings and calculate when it is safe to take a few shots at the enemy. I really enjoyed the game.

Awesome job!

I love this game, but damn is it difficult!

Developer(+1)

Yeah the game is a bit difficult in it's current state. Glad you liked it regardless :]

This game is really amazing, it really feels like a shooter game at a physical arcade. The mechanics are very tight and fit really well with the equally impressive art. For me it was really hard, but I'm a noob! Very satisfying when you get the drop on them from a surprise location.

Thanks a lot, I was afraid that the surprise attack mechanic would be a bit counter-intuitive, so it's nice to see people like it :]
