Simple game with nice idea (fitting the theme :D It's challengine, quite nice to play, but I would love to see some goals or divided it into waves or levels ;)

I like how the game looks, simple but quite consistent. I like the avatar selection at the start (there is a minor glitch - you can change the avatar by arrow keys even if you're at the "how to play" screen right now), animation, UI, controls. I don't really like the music in the game. You also could divide the game loop to the levels with appropriate goal to complete.

Really like the bucket full game is over thing  really orignal.

Clever  implementation of the theme.  I almost made use of the same emotes from kenney!  Unless I missed it a  bucket meter or visual to indicate how full the bucket is would help to know when to empty it.  I enjoyed your game.  Keep up the good work.

Thanks for playing! The bucket holds 6 drops and there is only a visual indicator when you catch the 6th drop. I found it too easy otherwise - especially because I keep forgetting to count and the warning sound often takes me by surprise :D
The sound effect when you catch a drop is actually louder when the bucket is fuller, but it's probably too subtle to tell you the exact count.

Yes, I did miss that, still brilliant job.

Fits the theme pretty well, looks and plays good. I like it. Robot shader is pretty distracting and unpleasant though. Congrats on your first game made with Defold! :)

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I agree that the robot shader is a bit too much and can be unpleasant. I only decided to keep it because the distraction adds to the difficulty balance and because the "chromatic aberration pulse" somewhat syncs with the music. Thanks for playing! :)

Well done for a first Defold game!  Mine is my inaugural attempt too.  It's a decent variation on the 'catching falling things' theme - the bucket-emptying aspect is original.  The presentation is okay, and I didn't encounter any visual glitches.  Maybe a few different kinds of dropping items would be a good idea - e.g., something to increase bucket capacity, to speed up the player, to slow the dripping, etc.  Keep up the good work - I can't wait to see your next Defold game!

Thanks a lot for your feedback! You're right, I should have thought of power-ups :)
