I've always been curious about Blender. I was just reading that it used to have its own embedded game engine, but they dropped that in 2019. Anyway, I hope it's a great course!

I checked out your game - it's super fun and cute! Here's a link to mine: https://waldorfhammer.itch.io/last-stand-the-key
Thank you so much for supporting the community! I played your game and I really enjoyed the artwork. You're right, it's probably best with a controller, but I had to use the mouse/keyboard controls, which were fine. Here's a link to my game: https://waldorfhammer.itch.io/last-stand-the-key

Thank you! When I update the game, I will definitely try to make the hedge maze a little easier. I agree that when a puzzle requires a lot of repetition, it can get annoying. I even got a bit annoyed myself trying to get through the maze without getting poisoned - and I made the dang thing! It might actually be more fun without any poison element at all (or at least more moves that can be made before full poison status is reached). :-)
I played your game by the way, and I was blown away by the professionalism and originality of it. I'll keep an eye out for your future projects.
Thank you so much for your encouraging comments! And congratulations on getting as far as ending #1 - I was concerned that the maze might be too frustrating for players to get through (i.e., not enough time to do it without getting fully poisoned). I only had time to create one ending, but I have some others planned out. (There has to be at least one happy ending!) If and when an updated version is available, I can let you know for sure. Thanks for playing!
very impressive! as many have mentioned, the voice acting is a better than most AAA games. and all of the details (references to everything from quantum physics to mythological folklore) made it a pleasure to dive into. I'll admit, i didn't play for very long because it felt a bit like actual office work, but I'm assuming the game progresses beyond filling out reports correctly. when I'm feeling more patient, I'll give it another go. thanks for submitting such an original, humorous and intriguing game!
really cool idea. i love hacking games and word puzzles, so this was perfect for me. unfortunately, i found it too difficult to keep up with all the hacks. as other comments have mentioned, it would be cool if you didn't have to keep typing 'connect' and 'analyze'. maybe keyboard shortcuts or abbreviations, like 'cd' for change directory in DOS? it would allow players more time for thinking about the puzzles instead of guessing. nice work, though!
very well made and artfully rendered game. I was a bit confused by the title of the game - in the short time I played it, I didn't come across any puzzle elements, and I started to question the title. But I can see, from reading some of the comments below, that the puzzle aspect comes into play later in the game. i will give it a longer try now.
UPDATE: now that I have played several more levels, I can see how the game does indeed become more of a puzzle, and I have raised my rating to reflect this. the visuals are very professional looking. I'm impressed!
very well-produced game. the graphics are beautiful in a retro way, the game mechanics are appealing (acquiring abilities during game progress). I have to admit, I didn't far because I came to a long stretch of unmoving spikes and wasn't sure how to pass them. I'm sure if I had more patience, I could have figured it out. :-)
