All it needs is a mascotte (like the Joker from Balatro), some additional mechanics, and you're on your way to having the next card roguelite! :D

Developer

Thank you very much. I'm really starting to think :D

Nice twist on a classic blackjack, I love how you utilised the theme! The presentation is great, everything just works ;) When you get to know the rules it's a fully playable game with actual fun while playing! ;)

Thank you, I'm happy to hear that!

I like the idea (the mix of a card game with 21). The gameplay, visuals, SFX, UI, everything looks consistent. Quite a solid game. My suggestion: make an ability not just to drag&drop a card, but make it possible to click a player's card to select it then click the opponent's card to place it over.

Thanks! Regarding the idea of choosing a map rather than dragging, I think it would be a good addition. It would be fairly easy to implement if I decided to develop the game further

What do the red numbers on the cards mean? I won after some tries but I'm not sure what my strategy was. The opponent would typically beat my card which made the game incrementally harder. But sometimes he dropped a lower card so maybe it was just luck?

Developer

The red numbers on the cards indicate their value, which is taken into account when counting the hand. Your opponent receives cards randomly, like you. The aim is to strategize with the cards dealt to you, when to draw more or use a stronger card to defeat a weaker one. Because this is a prototype game with few rules, you can play intuitively, and eventually you will win through luck.

I like the easy to play and the fibe the game is giving.   its is getting hard if the  enemy gets all the high cards tho.  but nice concept.

Great concept!  I love the combination of blackjack and war-like games.  The artwork is perfect.  When I went over, I wasn't sure how to discard but maybe I missed something.  Good work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much! You can only discard a card by beating the opponent's card. If there is no other way to do this, the game is over. That's the point)
