Nice, simple game with crazy setting! :D Would be fun for more players or as a couch party game :D
Thank you for playing and for the feedback :)
I like the absurdity of a cab in a flapper delivering worms :) Thumbs up for getting out of patterns!
Also, moving from one end of the screen to the other end of the screen works great. The idea mentioned below about changing the camera zoom during the game progress is quite a good one with this seamless movement.
Thank you for giving the game a try :)
That's a fun concept! There is a potential in this game, kudos!
Thank you!
I like the game idea
Thank you!
I think need add handbrake to car and animated obstacle? Good job.
Thank you for the feedback.
Could you perhaps elaborate a bit further what you meant by "animated obstacle"?
Handbrake with drifting, of course! :)
Good entry with a solid game loop.
I had fun for a bit playing this, especially after I practiced the controls for a few mins. It would be awesome if you made gamepad and especially joystick controls for this; it screams joysticks to drive and steer with!
Some music and/or sounds would go a long way too. Like I said you have a solid gameplay loop so it would be awesome to see this added to post jam. One cool idea I think is to gradually have the camera zoom out as more time is taken up and/or you get a higher score, so that more of the map is revealed and you have more freedom to drive around. Also would be cool to have some sort of onscreen speedometer just for fun.
Good job!
Thank you for the valuable feedback.
I was definitely planning on adding music and sound effects but ran out of time and didn't want to add it last minute since this was my first time using Defold.
I like the idea of adding gamepad/joystick controls. I ultimately want to add touch controls as well.
Your suggestions around implementing a camera system gave me great ideas about how to develop the concept, even further :)
