um ok. I guess I need to play it more than once?   Got stuck on a second playthrough couldn't move after respawning at the beginning ... meh.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yes, the game is designed for multiple playthroughs to get different endings. There is an ending that you can only get after two playthroughs. The fact that the player is stuck is a bug, in this case you need to restart the game.

Hey, this was a fun time! I believe I got all the endings. It was a pretty good length for how often you were kind of expecting to play it, doing a successful run didn't feel like too much of a hassle despite the repetition because of how short each run was. I think the main issue I had was within all those failed runs - that first encounter with the four monsters was pretty tough to get through for a while, although I think a lot of that had to do with how I hadn't realized you could sprint. The platform was pretty tough, but I think I got the hang of it eventually. I think I felt better about dying often since it fit in with the theme (and because I thought the maid was cute).

I think there may have been an issue with the white wand ending, where as opposed to the other endings, it looked like all the text was overwriting the same letter, so it was very hard for me to attempt to parse.

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it:) The enemies are placed in such a way that it's hard to get around them without trying to shoot them. Yes, the platforms are such that it's not too easy and boring. The runs are short too, so as not to bore the player, and it's clear from the story why everything is repeated from the beginning.

Oh, that's a bug I had a hard time detecting. Which is why I couldn't fix it. Usually if you repeat the ending the text should become normal (ideally restarting the game of course).

There are five endings in the game, if you get all of them, it's awesome!

The 3D environments were very nice if a little repetitive. I wish there was more to do personally, maybe some more enemies  and the platforming is very finicky. The character models were very cute.

Developer

Thanks for playing! The purpose of the game is the endings, increasing enemies doesn't give anything to the main idea. Also, the game has a secret ending that reveals the main plot.

Pleasant 3D game, nice gameplay and setting. I had quite a bit of difficulty with the platform section.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah, the platforms are pretty challenging:)

The controls are nice and the game itself is pleasant to play. My only dificult is with the platforming segments. They're too small platforms to land on but I still managed to make it.

Hitting the foes with the wand doesn't gets old and they're slow enough so you can avoid if you want to.

The instrumentation used in the music ties everything together and makes it cutter.

Thanks for playing! The platforming needed to be made challenging to keep the player focused. If interested, there is also a secret ending in the game that will explain the story events.

I made it through on my first try and got the "Proud of You" ending! I tried playing a several more times without killing any souls to see what other endings there were, too. Unfortunately I kept dying at the jumping segment or right before. FPS platforming is difficult to nail, maybe slightly larger platforms would remedy that a bit?
The aesthetic was really nice though. It felt like an old school dungeon crawler with that low ceiling and pixel art textures. I also liked the music. It really contributed to the atmosphere!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yes, the platforming is quite complex, but if it was simpler, it wouldn't reflect the essence of the game. The game also has a secret ending that reveals the story.
