How does your game fit the Magical Girl Genre?
2/3 of the prominent characters are "magical" girls who have combative powers and transformations
Which theme(s) do you pick?
6. "This entire city must be purged."
How does your game fit those theme(s)?
The crux of the story centers on the purging of magical girls in the cyberpunk city of Neosaka. Gameplay wise you do a lot of purging of enemies.
Were the assets for your game made during the jam? Elaborate as you see fit.
The 3D models were sourced from the Kenny asset pack (linked in the game page). But the rest of the art was created by our very dedicated artist Nichibostu! Outside of art Text Animator for Unity was used to give some pizzazz to the text.

This was pretty neat! The character art was very cool and the ending was real dramatic, I just wish I knew some more of the background stuff they were talking about. Control wise some of the movement felt a little weird, like sometimes I would move exactly how much I wanted to and other times I'd keep moving for an extra half second or so. I didn't use the dash ability very often for a similar reason, it felt a little tough to control reliably. Also, "U" was a pretty awkward button to press to use my ultimate, I'd have to reach all the way over my keyboard to use it, and I missed the key a couple times in the middle of a big fight.
The music was really cool! Thought it really fit with the aesthetic a lot. I wish there were some more sound effects for out attacks though, I feel like it would give them some extra punch.
Thanks for uploading!
I had a good time playing this! The characters are cute, and the gameplay is challenging but mostly fair. I say mostly because I do think the movement is a little too sensitive and slippery currently.
The music is good, and the 2D/3D look works really well!
Great work!
I was having fun playing this game but then I stuck out bounds and never returned. Closed the window and then I thought "I want to see what is more in there". I loved it. Guys, always give a second chance to a game.
Love the neon colors and the overall presentation and story. The stand out for me are the boss phases, it got me hooked. Wasn't that dificult but they're enjoyable.
Loved the story and characters, the movement felt a little floaty though. Seems like the last boss phase is bugged for me, her health won't go down :(
Thanks for playing and the feedback! I just uploaded the fixed web version if you wanted to round out the experience with an unglitched final fight. and final bits of dialogue!
Awesome music and art, nice gameplay, even though I died many times, maybe the enemies were a little too faster than the weapon sight
Thanks for the feedback I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Good Job! I'm a huge sucker for 2D character art in a 3d world.
Both our characters for the jam were named Eve, lol!
Twins! Thanks for playing!
The music is so good... I wish I could crank it up!
Maybe I need to add a music slider to the pause menu 🤔. Stay tuned and thanks for playing!
Cyber magical girls crushing the corporate robot hordes, yay!
Having the story bit at the beginning gives great engagement hook. The game itself is fun and exciting, I really enjoy moving around though it was a little hard at first to navigate. The gals are super cute <3
Your Gal was super cute too thanks! Anything in particular that could make navigation easier?
It was fun!
during the second phase of the final boss I can't seem to do any damage, is that by design? I tried melee, range and ult, but nothing worked. I didn't see the shield either
I think it would be nice to have the button hint for the ultimate appear when it's already charged, because I forgot which one was it when it was ready and it took me a couple more levels to figure out - not a dealbreaker, though
cyberpunk is strong with this one
edit: audio-wise, the sfx is much louder than the music and if I want to hear the (awesome!) music, the sound beeps are a bit much on the ears
Thanks for the feedback! You aren't the first to mention the loud SFX. I should go back and change that! Thanks for playing.
Liked the art, but the gameplay was pretty boring. At least, the developers should have made killing enemies with one hit.
