nice art and music
Nice remake. Definitely should make the music keep looping. There also just isn't an ending I broke all the bricks and not even a congrats. I would of liked the ball to speed up as it was going to add a bit of difficulty too.
Nice! I do love me some breakout. Do you plan on adding power-ups eventually?
The original idea was to add two basic power-ups, one that multiply balls and the other that make the platform larger, but i think that i will not follow with this idea, i just wanted an excuse to make a breakout clone, that's why i joined this jam (and also to play and rate the games of other people.)
A nice recreation of breakout. I liked the palette you used for it, and the music is good. The ball probably shouldn't have been scaled since it goes above the resolution, but that's a pretty minor thing.
This is a pretty good recreation of breakout, and I had fun playing it. Though, there are a few problems: first, all the pixels dont look like the same size; second, there are no sound effects and the music doesnt loop; and third, the angles at which the balls bounce dont make sense. Also I destroyed all the blocks and nothing happened. If you fixed those small problems then I think it would be complete. Anyway, Good Job!
Pretty slick take on breakout! Liked the music and artstyle. Some powerups or something would help to mix up the gameplay, but not bad!
