There's a great game in here but I got so annoyed by not being able to skip the lengthy dialogue, it coloured my opinion which was a shame
I really like the dialogue in the beginning and art style and UI of the game, Also the movement was really good and the storyline of the game was well presented. Although there were a few bugs in the environment in terms of colliders and sometimes you cannot deal damage to the enemy when attacking also I could not restart or go to the home page when I died other than that, It was a good game overall
Thank you so much Kizito for the feedback. remarks are noted for future improvement.
The dialogue at the start was really good especially when you got tricked and instead got attacked. But then, they should be an option to skip the dialogue as it becomes monotonous when playing for the second time, I had to drop my phone and wait for quite some time for the dialogue to finish.
I really like the game graphics, and game narrative.
I wasn't able to play level 2 which was a bummer.
But in all I enjoyed playing this game 🙂.
The Bad
The narrative could have been shorter or maybe we could have had the option to skip or fast-forward it. I also struggled with the controls. After being tricked, I was ready to fight but the controls said "not today".
The Great
I love the games' graphics and narrative. Being tricked at the beginning made me laugh and I thought it was a great idea - a good way to catch the player off-guard. Well done Dorothy and David.
Thanks so much for the feedback. We appreciate and take note
The art style of the game just made me feel all fuzzy, i enjoyed the music and overall art style of the game, the theme was also quite diabolical. I love the opening scene where i thought i was getting some health just to get betrayed immediately.
What i did not like about the game was the opening dialog needs to be faster, the typing sound got really irritating after a short while, i had no option to complete the dialog if i could read faster and i was forced to sit there and wait for the typing to end before i could do anything.
Thanks for your feedback. We will try improve and add options to skip scenes in future updates
Really interesting gameplay.
Love the teleportation portal and the directions
Really interesting position to place a pause button
The dialogue at the start is really slow.
After completing the first level, the controlls in the next level haven't been anchored correctly such that i can't move my player to either the left or downwards.
in the second level you have to exit the game completely so that you can replay.
I think there's a problem with how you arranged your layers because sometimes the player can go behind grass.
Also i'm not getting the diabolical part of the game.
Thank you for the feedback. We will take note of those for future improvement. the second level have a bugs with control being activated twice on the previous build, it should be fine on the newly updated build. and the layer need to be improved as some triggers fail to register the player, thanks for noticing that. We will attend those issues and and strive to improve the gameplay
Tons of dialogue, a cute character, an intriguing story, lacking gameplay
Level 2 was unplayable because of the joystick
I think you could have removed combat and made it a purely narrative game where your goal is just to escape
Otherwise love the premise
The game design is generally calm, love the dialogue at the start but it seemed a bit fast. The colliders were glitching a bit cause I wasn’t able to pass a path I went through before. Besides that it’s really nice, great job
I liked the narrative piece and the general feel of the game. It was great exploring the scene and experiencing the progression. The controls felt a bit hard and fighting did feel impactful
I found the game to be quite creative. Loved the dialogue at the start too, gave me Undertale vibes.
The gameplay has potential to be fun, but the controls and colliders set it off a bit for me.
Présentation wise it was good, could use some extra lighting and ambience match the environment but it was good.
Matching the theme in terms of going around slaying monsters as vengeance for what the first guy did with the Heart Attack :)
Overall, enjoyed it, I thought it could've been much better too, especially with the controls and colliders but all good.
