Nah this game is pretty neat. The narrative guy gives me this feeling of being so care-free and creepy at the same time? 😅 I would love if we could meet him at some point. I dunno, could be just me but I feel this could also do well if applied some kind of ..."detective theming" to it? but overall, I real enjoyed it. Took no time to complete, waiting for the next levels when available 💯
Edit: I gotta learn how you guys did those Settings UI animations, those were top notch 🤩

Thank you very much for the feedback
In terms of having the challenging aspect buffed up a bit, it is something we considered; but we wanted players to experience more of the story than the shrine activity, so we tried to reduce the effort it'll take to garner the souls. But yes, it will definitely be worth the shot increasing the challenge a bit more to make it more fun. You are definitely spot on about the shaky shop UI too.
Yep, spending souls can unlock different dialogues, so picking to whom you spent them on is a decision we wanted our players to deliberate on. We're glad that's being the case.
Yes, we did originally plan to make storytelling the key aspect to this game, and the platformer was to give the players a quick and short break from reading too much. Think of it like...brewing coffee in coffee talk, or mixing drinks in VA-11 HALL-A. So we didn't want to make it too difficult, but yes, it might've been too easy in the end. We will take your feedback into consideration definitely.
Wow this is amazing stuff!
Died more times than I would've liked, [51] but that final stretch was something.
- Love the theme execution.
- The sounds were really cool too
- Had a couple of glitches with the controls, and sometimes there was a framerate that caused dashing to be unable to get the player to the next gem
- It was a bit frustrating when I tried control after gliding and picking up a gem, only to find myself hitting the wall. Perhaps a delay when you change states would be nice.
Overall, loved what you've done with the game!!!
Ps. Great surprise in the end there, let's see how far I can go :)
Impressive stuff Lazy_Programmer.
- You nailed the theme with this one!
- The puzzles you had were fun to play too and there's definitely ways we could improve on them. E.g. enemies/monsters that will sleep at night and be awake during the day and so on.
- I'd advise you keep working on this game and see if you can take it to the next level.
Enjoy playing it!
Love platformers, care for some feedback?
- I could feel the intention behind the intro scene, real awesome stuff but sadly I could hardly hear what the voice was saying, but I presume it has something to do with casting an angel down to wander the earth and await judgment?
- I felt like adding footsteps six would've really improved on the immersion.
- Love the attack, especially the button mash executing the wheel attack. The throw was my favorite ability.
- Did you consider giving the fallen angel a voice as well? I feel this is a game that couuld really thrive with voice overs and dialogues.
- I completed the corruption of the humans, and the defeating of guards but it said I failed?
Overall, I enjoyed it, good work. dev!
Hey Guys,
I'm a game dev, with great passion for VN games. I am currently working on one for mobile actually and it'll be nice to keep building my experience in the field, learn even more and contribute in teams to create some amazing stories.
(https://mikaelstudios.itch.io/circuit-chakula link to an old demo of the VN I mentioned; pending existing updates, feedback will be appreciated if playtested)
If you need a Unity Game Dev to build the game, or someone to help along with the narrative for the game you have in mind, or create a story from scratch, I've got you covered.
This game has some real promise in there, took me a while to understand how it plays though. I understand you have to merge stuff, but I don't know the target. Perhaps it's because I'm not much of a cook, and it could just be mixing stuff for a delicious cake, but it'll be nice to have some guide to follow.
It was pretty nice seeing the new stuff that'll be created though, and I found myself merging till the timer was up. Good work!
Nice execution of the game idea on this one, the game plays well and I could complete all available levels, wanted more, and that's always a good sign. The cube is anything but friendly though 😅, always tried to screw me over and fall out of the block.
For improvement you could add an indicator for when the other wall that comes down will occur; that'll add some tension, that sense of incoming peril, which could make the game more fun.
Overall great stuff. 💯
This game plays with no hiccups, everything that needs to work, works well. Great game to test the vocabulary with. I liked.
Just some minor suggestions?
Could turn off hints when the secret word's been found as at this point, it's not longer that useful?
A cool low soft ost playing in the background.
Tapping on a letter removes it from selection, without necessarily clicking on the backspace
But again, they're minor.
Known Bugs.
- On Retry after failing a level challenge the player will stop kicking the ball despite animations playing.
Workaround - Restarting the level should sort this out. Currently working on a fix.
- The Cameras kind of stutters when you take a shot for the Long Levels.
Workaround - Just keep playing it doesn't affect the shot. Working on the fix.
- The ball skips it's follow path
Workaround - It sometimes hampers progress but upgrading the shot power should make it easier to progress for now.
Please keep playing and provide us with your valuable feedback.
Fighting ships in space is certainly an interesting take on the theme and you can tell the team put in the effort to achieve just that. Managed to make it as far as 350+ thanks to the rapid fire mechanic. The environment looks good, the sound plays good.
The other white asteroids? That flew in like a flash were the most difficult ones to dodge though 😅 got hit everytime they came in. Maybe you could add a quick dash mechanic to counter this, but that could he tricky with the controls in place.
Certainly more can be added to this entry, but overall, great work team!!
The game is certainly challenging and difficult too. A trade off of blows is great touch, but needed a chance to recover health somehow after a skirmish with the zombies.
I felt the environment was nicely done and with a little bit of polish and improvements, we could get a fun game in our hands particularly for platformer lovers like myself.
Loved the game! Completed all 3 levels and recovered the orb to save the continent. 😌. The art was really good and no hiccups with the controls which is great. Felt sometimes the world moved by a bit too slow though, and a shame the coins we pick-up end up without use.
A quick use of this would be to have the player buy the power up - great power by the way - before the level begins with the coins they have.
Overall, a decent submission!
Tying everything together in an open world game for a solo dev was always going to be tough, so what you've accomplished is certainly worthy of recognition. I tried exploring the world, to appreciate the scenery you built, and yeah, managed to leap off the edge haha. But yeah, certainly much that needed doing. I could tell the concept you're going for, and with the right time, and polish this will turn out to be great stuff.
Nice game! Managed to get a high score of 770 but hit an obstacle at least 10 times if I recall 😅 It's good we get to continue upon failing by completing a puzzle but the progression fell flat as the challenge factor didn't really increase as we continue the run. Love the music. Nice Solo submission you can certainly be proud of.
This is quite a fun game! Found it to be very hard though hahaha, couldn't get past Round 5. I keep losing on the bonus track. Could later add something like a Peg shop and upgrades, where we can improve peg effects and buy some new ones. An idea for a new peg could be a stasis/slowdown peg, where the pebbles that comes within its zone will freeze on the spot or slow down for a while, allowing the 'turret' pets to blast them out of the picture swiftly!
This game for some reason reminds me of Vall-Hal-A Bartender action. It's got good art style too and will be interesting if the seller has a story besides work and could get some regulars that'll feature their own stories too, similar to the reference game I just cited. Looking forward to the final stuff
Nice game! that intro cutscene was fun to watch lol, and I particularly enjoyed the level 1 music. It got harder though, having to go in all directions to find the keys, could easily get lost. But overall, quite enjoyable; I didn't manage to rescue the good man though, will have to get back to it sometime.
