I got unexpectedly emotional at this one, maybe because I never lived in one place long enough to have come up with this myself. I like the parallel games intersecting, the things that sort of don't matter but so totally do (the child's picture on the blueprints, the diary entry that might never be read). Easy to read while tonally captivating. Bravo.

We love the idea of this game and its ability to deliver an atmosphere through its rules. The value given to the smallest things is certainly up our alley, and we think you did a splendid job with it. There are a lot of ideas in here.
What you could perhaps work on is binding together the various phases, and maybe finding a way to allow Children and Parents to play together sometimes or influence each other's activities. On paper, without having tried it already, we can't say how much of this is just our feeling or an actual characteristic of the game, but we think the points that need the most attention are the transitions from one phase to the next, having to switch between activities which may well be very different from each other and maybe to wait for the other team to end their phase.
Considering the magnificent job you did with words, we're convinced that the game could become even more homogeneous. Right now it certainly already gives off enough feelings of nostalgia and time going by that we truly want to try it. Great work.
This game feels really poignant, and I feel really reflects the feeling of a house absorbing the stories of the people who live in it. I love the weathering the storm part where the parents can work together to tie their hands together, if I was playing this game I would make the parents stay tied together for the rest of the game, after thinking it over, the fact that the parents get to determine the look and furniture of the house while the children fill the outside with detail makes a lot of sense!
The map itself could be better integrated, unless the game is telling someone specifically to draw on the map, it doesn't feel like there's much in the rules encouraging players to look at it, and the weathering the storm and facing the future phases have almost no interaction with the map at all.
A game where where two groups of people play separate "games", yet connected and intertwined: exactly as children and parents.
In the Lay Foundation phase, the Vocation and Fascination Traits about Parents and Children respectively are unexplained. Was this intentional?
I like how the Lay Wall phase is crucial in determining the tone of the game - especially the roll of the dice.
My most significant doubt is about Parents since the Phases are counting on a tension between the two which doesn't seem to be necessarly built. If the happy couple scenario isn't expected maybe some other trouble is needed in the earliest phases.
I especially appreciate how clearly the game is written. Good job!
