Wow that was fun :D Art, design, music everything is great! Completed in 7 minutes. It feels responsive and fun to shoot zombies. Taking corpeses to vending machines also felt fun for some reason :D I gotta say you guys did a good job using the theme. The only negative i can think of is after some point it feels a bit repetitive. Maybe more guns and enemies can help with that.
Overall loved it, I applaud you guys. Well done!
A good concept and setting. But like many before me, I will note that the game needs optimization. I've seen this problem with a lot of Unreal games. It is necessary to fix this flaw and the game will be great. I also liked how the word "zombie" is distorted on the game page.
great game, i love the design
What a great game, enjoyed this a lot. Difficulty was just right to make things really intense the entire time, but not impossible to do. The shooting felt very satisfying and I loved the resource aspect of everything. Music was great too. Very very good submission! :D
Don't know how much of it is my fault, but it's pretty laggy for me lol. But other than that, it's a very cool concept and really fun :)
Visually stunning entry! My only complaints are with the gameplay:
- Both the player and the zombies are too fast. There were often times I lost track of where the player was because they scurried almost out of the camera frame, plus it was hard to stop exactly on top of the corpses to pick them up. The zombies should be a good bit slower than the player too.
- Maybe it's just because any Unreal game runs at like 5 frames a second on my computer, but I could barely ever land a shot unless I stood still. This lead to the game becoming a constant unenjoyable cycle of running away from the zombies while failing to shoot them, failing to pick up the corpses, wasting ammo, only spending money on ammo, wasting that again, never getting above 5 gold the entire game, and dying.
Other than me being bad at the game and not enjoying it, great game!
thanks for the feedback: - )
Really impressive entry here. You've done very well on all parts of this: the level design, the snappy gameplay full of game feel, the ambience in sound and lighting, and the overall visuals. Great job!
it's really fun and challenging good job
This scared the shit out of me i didn't realise the zambos would be so fast :') it was so fun though i was screeching my way through scurrying around trying to avoid the lil guys!! The vending machine idea is sick, it's very original making up for the fact that zombie horrors can be an oversaturated market, you really added your own spin to it. The art is really simple and slick, and the music is subtle but adds the perfect atmosphere!! Overall really enjoyed my time with the game, awesome work man!!! - peardropsz & borro
This is somehow adorable and terrifying at the same time!!!! The art looks amazing for the camera angle, and I love the vending machine concept!
