Amazing game! It's very polished and has no glaring issues. All the sound design, art (which is beautiful), and gameplay form an entertaining experience. Great job!
Really nice turn-based game. Adorable characters and I liked that each cat had their own things they could do. I did get a little frustrated with the chief cat though as they would nearly always miss their shot unless the enemy was one tile ahead of them.
You should continue working on it, I think one or two more enemies and some polishing and quality-of-life changes would really benefit this game.
the music is really good!
Really good!
really cool game I love the art style. Great job!
Thank you!!! <3
This is a very fun game! I liked the art a lot, but I think the game would benefit a lot if there was some more strategy involved. For example, if there was more/stronger enemies, but the engineer and fireman could also shoot (like maybe with lower accuracy) that would require the player to plan more, since they would have to decide what to focus on a given turn. But still, I really enjoyed it :)
Thank you so much!! We would love to adapt on it in the future and add some more details like that! Sadly we were just focussed on getting the basics in and didn't have anymore time! But great ideas, thank you so much!
Awesome game. I really liked it. However I would suggest for engineer cat and fireman cat to be able to do their tasks diagonally.
Overall good game.
Thank you so much!! That makes a lot of sense, there was quite a bit I had hoped to change about the tasks but unfortunately we ran out of time!
Liked the game, kinda wished that there was like a shaded part of tiles that showed the distance the cats can move and what moves they had left.
Thanks so much for the feedback! I agree, that's a great idea, wish I had thought of that!
good game i like the cats
I'm glad you like them!!!!
thank you for making it
I found it quite creative bro, the art is very good too
Thanks so much! <3
Haha good prompt executed realy well. I love the art and cat designs they are so cute :D I also liked the job aspect it makes you think before making a move. The game will be more fun with more enemy types and faster loading screens. Overall great game loved it :D
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the jobs, we hope to expand on that in the future! Thanks so much again!
Amazing entry! I like the creativity given the prompts and that each cat has their own "power" is nice to keep it strategic. It is very frustrating when the chief cat misses the shot, or when the fire pops up at the other side of the map. I like the wave-based system, but it takes away the strategic element in my opinion, an alternative option could be to clear a level with only X moves available. That's only my opinion though, overall a really nice game with a clear objective and cute arts. Well done!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the feedback! Initially our idea was to have larger levels, or multiple levels, a little like xcom, but unfortunately we ran out of time! Thank you again for the great feedback <3
Really cool game! The art style is super cute! Love the posters at the back of the room as well haha. Only thing I'm not sure about is if there is anything that changes with the waves? Could use a couple more mechanics and things to do, different enemies to make it less repetitive :D But overall really good, I enjoyed it!
Thank you so much <3 We would've loved to add a lil more gameplay to it but sadly cause of time restraints we couldn't! My initial plan was for there to be a cover system and changing levels and maybe even an ending! Will see if we ever get round to it :)
The art is very cute and well done, and i like the fallout 1&2 style turn based movement!! the only thing is that sometimes when tiles were green, i would left click and my cat wouldnt move... and i think the other lil cats should have some way to attack as for me, they didnt? but i would love to see this game more fleshed out, it's very cute, very satisfying to murder the rats, and i love the setting too, the ship looks really good!! sick job my man xox
Thank you so much for your kind words!!! I noticed way too late that the grid size was just sliiiightly off so it caused the movement issue, sorry about that! We toyed with letting the other cats have attacks, but we ran out of time for the balancing of it! Thank you again so much! <3
Thanks so much!
Cool game, and did well with the theme too.
oops sorry it posted a few too many times
Thanks so much!! Glad you enjoyed it :)
Fun concept! The mechanics are pretty cool. You might like a game called Into the Breach if you've never tried it!
Thanks so much! I'm a huge into the breach fan, glad that could rub off on this!
Really cool entry! Isometric view is really well accomplished. I would love to see the concept evolving in the future if you continue developing it.
Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Really nice game! I enjoyed the mechanics and the isometric artwork is very good :) I wish there were more content to play, well done!
Thanks so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!!!!
