I'm fixing the level where the giraffe is unable to get over the one block! Thanks for all the feedback and suggestions!

Interesting concept. I have to say that the audio being non-existant and the weird physics ruined what could've been a fun experience.

An interesting game with some good humor. It made me groan in the best way possible! :) It does have a few problems though, I didn't hear ANY audio, the physics was a bit weird, and I couldn't get past the second giraffe part. It could use some work, but I think you have a strong start. Good job!

Developer

Thanks! Yea i had audio at first. But many people felt that it was annoying and i rather not have any audio than to chase people off with the annoying music. The animals had a little frustrating part where it would flip and rotate but i took it off because many people felt that it was pretty bad. I'll check the giraffe level out. maybe i accidently put too low of a jump force. :P

Great idea and also the pixel art is very cute. Physics doesn't feel so good and I managed to fly with the elephant (don't know if it was intentional but it was funny)

Nice work thanks for sharing :)

Unity 101, Make a physics material so that you dont stick to walls. I loved the idea of switching characters throughout the level to progress, definitely some extra polish to be had but that comes with experience. Wonderful job with the puns and creating a bunch of dialog!

Cool idea! But have one or two little bugs. But I love the humor!

I got a little stuck on the second level so I couldn't finish it. But from what I played it was an interesting idea. Not sure it followed the theme 100% but I could see some interesting level design from it. Good work!

The game is really cool, I liked all the animations for the animals! The clicking mechanic was also really cool!  My one improvement is that you need to ad a Physics Material 2d to the rigid body of the player character and change friction to 0 so the player doesn't stick to walls! This is a really good entry, thanks for sharing!

This is a really cute game. I find the graphics pretty charming. Sometimes, the music stops randomly and the game is completely silent. It's very easy to get the main character model stuck on their side and kinda frustrating to have to right them again, not sure if that's what you were going for. I at one point got completely stuck and couldn't continue after falling off the back of the map. There are a good few typos in the text, and the font it's in directly over the game makes it kinda hard to read / unattractive. I wonder if you might try putting it in a text box / using a pixelly font to go with the game's graphics?

All in all, a cute game with a neat concept. It just has a couple of bugs that need to be worked out for it to reach its full potential :)

Thanks for the feedback! Actually i forgot to loop the music in some levels and i forgot to activate the deathzones 馃槄. Sorry though. i fixed about a couple of the issues and fixed the bug where the end level would not appear. If you like you can try again, many of the bugs are fixed now. (I removed the music because it felt pretty annoying)  :))

Hey I have been playing through again. Honestly I kinda miss the music just a little bit (it was a /little/ annoying. maybe just use something that goes on a little bit longer before it loops?) Sorry to bother you with another bug, but now in the giraffe level, on the second giraffe - the one that can actually move - I can't get it to jump high enough to get over that little ledge. Thanks!

The physics are a bit clunky. I don't know if it was on purpose, but i realized the sheep roll around when colliding with something and the elephants seem to be able to jump infinitely.  Still a pretty good game on its own right

The physics were a bit meant to be on purpose? Er because i found this problem a little while ago and figured it could help match the storyline of size. xD I realised it was the z-rotation problem and fixed it. :)

The concept is definitely one of the better ones of the jam however my character kept flipping which was kind of annoying. Keep at it man!

Developer

thanks! the flipping was actually on purpose because i couldn't fix it! I fixed the bugs already so the full game including the ending should be playable now! :)

Nice concept, like the switching body feature. The rolling of the character made it hard to control though, some small areas couldn't easily roll yourself back up to jump again.

Developer

Thanks! Actually you could flip back up, you just needed more time. I could do it. xD But i fixed the flipping and some other bugs. Thanks for the feedback!

This was an interesting little game. The graphics and music could use some work. But, in such a short jam without a musician or artist, it can be super tough, especially if it's your first! Also, I think you could keep the player tumbling if you let the player jump while on their head. I got stuck on my head a couple of times. However, I was able to get off it due to a glitch with the tile collisions. It seemed like the tiles had tiny gaps between their collisions that the player would hit. Did each tile have a collision box?

With that said, I feel like you could build some nice puzzles and exploration by having the player switching between multiple animals. Additionally, congratulation on completing your first game jam! You made a good effort and present an interesting idea. Keep up the good work!

Actually the tiles were the "ground layer", and as long as the legs which had a physics circle near it touches the ground, it can jump. I fixed a few bugs including the rotation and the final scene not showing along with some collider issues. It should work now and thanks for the feedback!

And i really like your game a lot.  :P
