Very cool for your first game jam.

Had a little trouble due to the cursor not being locked to the screen and me having multiple monitors meant I kept clicking of the game.

You can use cursor lock mode to keep that from happening in your games https://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/CursorLockMode.html

You know, I think you could make a really cool concept for this beyond just the one on one fighter battle. I didn't read the instructions at first, so I just started walking around the city destroying everything because that was so fun. It would be fun to have it so you maybe have to destroy the city while the enemy chases you around.

Punchatron made a mistake bringing fists to a missile fight lol Great first jam entry! Simple, but what you have is really nice! The visuals look good and I love that walking into buildings make them explode and catch fire. Would be fun to see this expanded with more fighters and levels. Good work!

Really liked the two characters!

Would love to see this concept expanded on but great work for your first game! :D  I remember something similar to this back in the PS1 days that I used to love playing the demo for!

For your first jam I think you did great!  Running out of time and not getting in things you wanted is almost a 100% certainty so by that standard you got quite a lot done,  Nice work

The game's visuals are pretty neat, feels like one of those good old flash games you played back in the day on your browser.
Sadly, I couldn't get any moves to work and when I tried going to the controls, it straight up didn't work, so my experience was a bit lackluster, but good attempt, you still made something. Keep making something and eventually it'll be something great!

Okay, we all know Mechasaur would win every time. Seriously though, I like how you tried to go for a kaiju fight simulation here and how buildings are an active obstacle for both sides. For you, your missiles will blow up on them and they slowdown Punchatron.
