I like the upgrade system and a choice between slow and heavy mecha, fast but fragile, and a balanced mecha. Nice low poly art style that is consistent even with third party assets. General movement feels slow and floaty with the jump/falling though, even with the light mecha. Could probably do with some VFX like for dashing maybe? Personally would prefer to fight enemy mecha that shoot back, dodge etc. rather than spheres that beeline towards you but very nice project overall!

Very fun game, upgrade system was nice. I wish there was more enemy variety than just orbs and I also wish the overheating was more obvious, its very easy to look away and forget when you get surrounded by so many enemies.

I want to rate the game.

It's really charming game

Fun Vamp Survivor style game. I like the different equipment and upgrades. I feel the jump amount could be increased a bit, right now it's barely enough to jump onto a small building and I feel it should be maybe twice the height. That or small buildings shouldn't impede movement as much. The audio for the dashing doesn't sit well with me, doesn't sound like a booster.

thanks for the feedback, you can hold jump in the air to go higher, also builds with lower weight can jump higher

The upgrade and weapon system were very nice features. Wish there were more enemy variety though - but for a jam it’s still very good.

Pretty nifty game I was a bit confused why I kept dying though? Maybe from overheating? I really like the customization variety.

Developer

yea, when you keep overheating you start loosing health. Before that happens smoke starts comming out of the mech and there is a warning message but I have to admit that i have also died of overheating without noticing it, so maybe i will add a red flashing screen to make it more obvious after the jam

Nice game, i like how i can custom the mech, and the control was good (arcade control). Choosing amelioration after each level reached remind me the rogue lite mechanics like survivor’s game.

Developer

thanks, I wanted to focus mainly on the player's mech and weapons, so this seemed like the best aproach, i also wanted to add permanent upgrades like most roguelites do, but i run out of time.
