Very cool entry, reminds me a lot of Battlefront 2 (the good one).

I think you've got a great prototype here, with more work it could become something really great! For starters, I think the laser sight is cool, but over long distances it doesn't help a lot with precise aiming (although that might be something you're going for). I think a crosshair of sorts would help the player feel more in control. It was also kind of hard to tell when I was hitting someone, so maybe it'd be good to add some visual feedback for the player. The different classes were cool, but because of these issues I had I couldn't really play the Marksman class too well. Maybe they could have like a scope sort of thing?

I like this entry a lot because it feels like you have a lot of room to grow and really make this something very unique! I hope you keep working on it because it's definitely a very solid foundation.

Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much for playing :)

I indeed was shooting for a Battlefront 2 style game and in fact I was planning on doing a more in-depth version of Galatic Conquest that aimed to be highly replayable with multiple ways to win, alike a 4X game or strategy game. But I scrapped that idea when I realized that I wouldn't have enough maps to make it feel fun and I needed to focus on other mechanics. As for the shooting, I aimed for something non-traditional and tried to create some sort of old school Armored Core style of shooting, but I think I might resort to traditional 3rd person shooting if I ever cameback to this game.

Neat small start for a game. Needs a bit of tweaking though. I suggest raising the camera a bit so the player can see over the shoulder better and what they are aiming at. Was a bit difficult to tell which color I was supposed to be helping because I thought I was blue but then the blue bar was going down when I was over capture points. I like that you had a couple of classes, that adds a good touch to the game though I'd like to see skills or something else that differentiates them between the other classes other than weapon.

Thank you soo much for playing! Yeah, I wished that I got to add a lot a things like secondary abilites and make the two sides more distinct. Like the officer was supposed to command a legion of mini-units and their was supposed to be a "spider" class that could have grappled around, but I didn't have time to implement these features so I had to scrap them. Maybe, in the future I might comeback and implement these things.

As for the capture point, you make an excellent point. I should have made the bar go left-to-right to show the capturing, as that can be a source of confusion. Also, there is a bug I didn't fix before releasing in which your allies can add capture time sometimes instead of speeding it up. Anyways, thanks for playing my game :)

Impressive work, feels like an unearthed early arena shooter.

Controls felt good, perhaps more bullets or bursts?
Four different worlds in a gamejam are not common! Really well done!
Great entry and good job CrimzonRed.

When I tried to play the EXE version it was missing the .PCK file. Nice Battlefront like game though!

Thank you soo much for hosting this jam. I really had a fun time working on the game. As for the exe version, I noticed that issue a day after I submitted and then pushed a fix for it. Anyways, thank you soo much for playing my game :)
