Really cool game :)
I agree with you that our games have very similar vibes, they're both pretty eerie and have similar settings. I could picture both locations being right next door to eachother haha. Speaking of eerie, I was expecting something creepy to happen when I let the robot go to the bathroom a second time, but I guess it was just ordinary which is pretty funny.
The gameplay loop is pretty solid, and if you were to expand you could easily add more depth to it, more ingredients, placing a bucket to catch the leaky water droplets. You could get pretty creative with additional endings too, I tried to see if I could give a mouse a piece of cheese lol, I thought maybe there'd be a secret mouse ending?
Really good game overall, I liked it enough to hunt down the endings. I like to imagine that the facility from my game is just upstairs from the setting of this game, sorry about the leaky pipes :)
Thank you for the review; the fact that you even tried to get all endings means a lot to me! Man, the mouse ending is such a great idea that I am genuinely jealous I didn't think of it myself.
And lol, I love the idea of the factory just being in the basement of the water facility; perhaps the purple chimpanzee is behind more than we think...
This comment was ineluctable, hahahah.
I feel like this game is the lost brother of mine, the story telling of Sandwich Crew is very interesting and captures the player attention and curiosity from the very beginning, at first I started playing thinking the game would have gotten faster as the time went by, but instead I got surprised by the story that the game is creating and slowly but steady I found myself eagerly waiting for the next character that would pop up or the next event happening or the next dialogue box appearing on the screen, really a great experience!
The only suggestion I feel like I can do is that the gameplay itself feels like it's missing something, the game does a very good job at getting the player interest in what is it's story, but it's more like I'm playing to see what is gonna happen next instead of playing because I like the gameplay loop, which is not necessarily a bad thing in my opinion but honestly I think it depends on the direction you want it to take.
Overall I found it a very enjoyable experience!
this is so charming haha, i love how instead of increasing the conveyer speed or making the sandwich more complex (which is the cliche way of increasing difficulty overtime) you add other elements that you need to take care of. very well written too, amazing job.
very great game! it was fun and cute
I had the ending where I left with the robots :D
Very polished game with good story elements, I like it. My robots left me so I resigned :(
I really liked this one, the dialog was really funny, the gameplay was simple but fun and the graphics looked really good. all around great game!
Overall, this was a great game, especially considering the time limit. I like how it keeps adding new things to do as it goes on, which forces the player to switch their flow, or their playstyle. It got quite difficult towards the end as the responsibilities increased. I didn't really get how the other workers were changing anything, so it might be useful to show them cutting the certain stuff or having to pick it up from there.
This game isn't very fun, and it shouldn't be, because it is actually a showcase of the absurdity in the modern workspace of average people.
Having the ability to do more things only means that people will give you more responsibilities than you can handle and then fire you. ๐ฃ
I tried playing your game, but I can't for the life of me get it to run properly D:
I think I've fixed it now? There's a new version available on the main page
It's fixed! Thank you!
At first, I thought the game was pretty easy, but then I just got more and more things to do. At the end, I didn't stand a chance haha
Anyway, I love your interpretation of the theme! The little robot guys were very cool. The basic controls of the game is very appreciated to balance the amount of tasks I had by the end
Overall, I really liked it!
