How does your game relate to the theme?
My game relates the the theme because you have to paint (the flow of paint) along the the flow of music playing in the background.

maybe it's just me, but idea is interesting and I've never seen anything like that before. Good job!
very innovative and fresh new idea and excellent execution
I find the idea and the gameplay pretty fun! The only issues I have is that it's hard to tell when/why you mess up, and like you said, it's pretty unforgiving. But I think if you continue working on this you could fix it and make it into a great game!
I actually like the idea, and having the brushstrokes match Gymnopédie feels satisfying. As others already said, the game just falls short on the execution. I noticed that the brush is offset for me when painting, so I only start to get paint on the canvas if I move my mouse into the top left part of the screen.
A very original idea for sure, but the execution is unfortunately just a bit iffy. You have a very small window of error for each stroke, and especially the ones where you have to paint kind of upwards were almost impossible to get for me. Having to start all over after just one mistake is also very harsh, perhaps having multiple lives could be a better alternative for this. Plus, the strokes on the canvas did not even remotely line up with my mouse (although that didn't matter too much, as I barely had time to look at the canvas anyway). I do see potential in this idea, it's just that the core gameplay loop isn't quite there yet.
The direction you have to paint is not immediately clear and the tolerance is very tight making small mistakes game-ending. Also, looking at the falling brushes makes it virtually impossible to actually “paint”. At some point I had a bunch of garbled strokes in the canvas. I think this may be promising. It’s currently it’s too hard and having the falling paint strokes close to the canvas may make it easier to see them while “painting”.
i might be dumb, but wow this game is VERY hard. maybe i misunderstood how the game works, but you have to move your mouse so precisely, and if you miss one note then its game over. I dont really understand the canvas on the left either.
That being said this is a very nice idea for the theme, and with some more polish this game would be amazing.
Cool game and cool concept but I don't think I actually understand how the game works.
Every time I reach the first more vertical paintbrush, I just lose no matter what I do.
Also, having to watch where and how the paintbrushes drop really prevents me from actually draw something that isn't scribble.
