I liked the story and the fact you could sail to get to different islands. That was neat. Some sprites were blurry and contrasted with the rest of the art but it wasn't so bad. Music was awesome, nice work!

neat concept liked how there's a lot to explore with the options open right from the beginning by being able to sail

the different islands themes were neat to

liked the world building

i wish there was feedback for hitting enemies

TNT doubling as a platform and a resource was a good idea

but the TNT was fiddly to place sometimes

the controls are pretty clunky

sometimes get sticking to ledges for a second before falling back down

I've gotten stuck in the ground/in between objects a lot of times forcing me to restart the level

i remember getting sunk into the ground by a bat multiple times

i got stuck having to reset so many times in the mines because of the stick not falling properly

music and sound is good

No idea how I didn't catch the bats pushing you into the ground / gates not falling correctly, so thanks for pointing those out. I took a look at those, and have a patch for those ready to go, but can't upload it until after the jam. Enemy feedback and the players hitbox are things I should probably work on once I can update it again.

Thanks for the feedback!

The Audio is fantastic! I really enjoy each song in the game. I thought it was really cool giving the player the open ocean so quickly, and there is some clever design tricks in here to let you know that "hey, you aren't able to go to this island yet" which is nice. Great project!
