I kind of liked how it lasted for a month however, it caused me to forgot about for two weeks only to try and quickly finish the game

Nice start.  The movement feels pretty good.  If anything I would suggest working a bit on the combat and especially the feedback when striking enemies and objects.  Good job on your gate logic!

Real cool! I did wish it was a little bit harder, because you can just shoot the boss with water and axe him and barely loose any health. Other than that, good game, good job!

The game needs more polishing, specially the main mechanichs of the game:

  • The character doesn't stop when you release the movement keys, and the character is kind of slow when turning around. This works really well in games like Grand Theft Auto, as they are intended to copy real physics and integrate them in gameplay, but in an arcade game it just makes it feel wonkier than it should be.
  • Using the axe is not confortable. When the character makes a full stop to attack, something doesn't feel right. It may be that it is too rough, I think that smoothing the stop would help to make it feel less weird.
  • Some walls interfere directly with your what you can see, so making them go invisible when you are behind them could make the game feel more polished.

The turorial is good, it teaches you all the game mechanichs in a simple and straight-forward game, what makes it easy to get into 😊.

If you fix all these problems, this could be a good game (not metroidvania though 😛).

This a nice base for game. I'm not sure what genre it would be, though. As someone who is still intimidated by trying to move towards 3D, I applaud you for going for it!

Nice submission! It needs a lot of polishing, but it's a nice concept if further worked on.

I managed to beat all four levels! You mentioned having to quickly finish the game so I admire the remaining effort that went into it.

Everyone walks pretty slow and if a boss is following you, it's pretty difficult to hit them without getting hit yourself. But hey, time constraints I'm guessing.

I actually beat the levels without using frost ray (forgot it exists), but what does E do? It spawns like a white guy with a blue axe.

Either way, given how little time you had, still a nice delivery so good job!
