Looks and sounds nice. Good player mechanics, they felt nice. Enemies need work. Had them land on top of me and sit on me. Also did not like being knocked to the other side of the screen from enemies charging me. Perhaps a little knockback is fine, but not being launched off the screen. Definitely could work on this more and have a neat metroidvania platformer demo.

Nice work! Knockback felt a little high, in my opinion, and the boss could maybe flash white or give some feedback when hit so I know my attacks are doing something. Nice job overall though!
Very solid Game, simple and on Point, the world could use a little more backtraking etc.
Just beat it, I thought it was pretty fun! I don't have any critiques that haven't been said already, nice work.
I really liked the quick attacks, although the combat itself could’ve been a bit better similar to what’s already been said. The boss is a nice introductory boss.
The way the heart containers were provided worked really well for the pace of the game.
Lastly the movement was quite floaty, and would’ve loved some coyote time. Though the floaty movement did feel pretty good with the double jump.
Short game, great pacing. Had a good time playing!
It was a fun time. Combat felt a bit janky but losing was not frustrating thanks to the checkpoints. A bit too linear for a metroidvania but still good!
The variety of enemies was nice and player progression in gaining abilities was well built too. The combat was sort of confusing to me though. Sometimes my attack would push back enemies letting me combo them nicely. Other times, they'd just keep walking right at me. The unpredictable nature of how the enemies would respond to my hits made it tough for me to enjoy the combat. That aside, I do love the graphical style, sound effects, and design . Good work!
