Oh man that fall on the second pit into the spikes was meaaaaan!
Collecting magic and use it as weapons is a good idea (having a limited number of amunition is in general good idea). Character controls feels nice, I appreciate having ability to shoot different directions without using of mouse, its a decent entry, good job :)
Nice game! The game provides a decent challenge and control well. I wouldn't really consider this a Metroidvania, but it is a competent platformer. Thank you, Rick, for the health & magic :D
It is interesting that you connect the intro & ending to youtube videos.
Note that enabling SharedBufferArray, which is required for Godot, breaks youtube links. I was unable to watch the intro sequence.
The+
- The projectile is cool - funny comments on slimes

The-
- The respawn is weird, it could be nice to make it appear in magic for example (using the symbol of magic for example)
- Be careful with tilesets, there are holes
- There are areas where you can be safe in the peaks (spaces too big between each peak)
- Magic is difficult to recover, encourages avoiding enemies rather than confronting them
- A little medieval or cave music (royalty free) in place of the wind
In conclusion, in reality it could give something nice, 'Never ...
Felt very smooth. Unfortunately I wasn't able to beat it as I have a keyboard with no arrow keys, so contorting my hand made it a bit uncomfortable. Biggest complaint is that the enemies being able to shoot through obstacles made me get hit while offscreen a few times. Nice game though!
I got jumpscared by the automatic youtube opening for the ending cutscene, but I gotta say opening youtube for cutscenes is very charming.
I finished the game, but at the end, it is just a burning memory. I certainly did not expect EATEOT.
Here you go!
Pls watch the intro ! ;) https://youtu.be/lDAiqgC68uc?si=cbY__L0xKUcpTDJT
