Nice and responsive controls, I like that you can jump a tiny bit after you leave the platform edge. Could do with a bit more variation in the platforms/background. Could do with checkpoints and/or starting from the current screen when you lose all your health, instead of going back to the beginning of the game.

Vacuum upgrade feels quite interesting as mechanic that gives you several moves. Only issue I had with it - it would be nice to dash in direction of mouse cursor, not from it. It might seems not logical, but it would ease player interaction with a game a ton. Otherwise, good job!

Here's the recording and feedback video.

I appreciated your use of AB encounter design. Where you'd introduce an enemy, then you'd introduce an obstacle, then you'd pair them together. This is an effective method to teach and ramp challenge while continually introducing novelty.

Your game feel and presentation could use some work. I recommend studying anything by Vlambeer.

Good game! I like the goofy & chill vibe it has. The levels are varied & challenging. I hit a wall after unlocking the vacuum ability. I couldn't progress past the first obstacle in the orange area.

What a cute little game! The mechanics felt smooth MC has very slippery movement which was cool. Reminded me a little bit of a condensed version of Realm of the Mad God, which has been one of my fav guilty pleasure rouge like games. I think your game would suit a similar style of gameplay were kill waves of enemies (harder enemies in different areas etc). So potentially to hybrid it with rough-like mechanics might be a sold way forward. Sweet game, I would have liked a little bit of a story introduction or narrative nuggets, but ofc that is team and time reliant when it comes to jams.

Feel free also to try out our game!

An enemy was chasing me and it hit a hazard in the level and died. 10/10
