Overall fun and unique take on the theme! Like the 2 distinct dimensions to access and simple controls, easy to learn but quite tricky in practice, and I mean that in the best possible way! Very pretty, love the visuals, although I will say some robots appear to be farther in the background which made it seem like they weren't obstables, that's probably just me though. My main gripe is that it doesn't really fit "in a cycle" very well, I understand what you were going for but it felt more like a side effect than a deliberate addition. I don't know, I'm just saying this as a player, but I'm sure it makes more sense from the dev's POV. Overall a good play!

Thanks a lot dude! Fair enough on the prerequisite, I was thinking that the five second timer acts as a cycle - switching between dimensions once the cycle ends. I do agree that it’s not the best/obvious thing. Thank you for such a detailed comment! 🫡

Love the detailed background cities. Simple but satisfying gameplay. Not really sure how it's a cycle though.

Developer

Thank you! Yeah, I do agree that it’s probably not the best “loop” implementation, per see. In my mind, I was like “well if they HAVE to switch between dimensions within x seconds, that’s a loop I guess?” But yeah, probably not the best of ideas lol.

This one was super well done. I enjoyed the simplicity overall. It also looks really good.

Thank you so much for your appreciation bitty! :)

Super cool art and concept! The presentation is vry nice and I like the use of the theme a lot, just took a bit to get the hang of. I definitly switched a few times to insta die when I thought there was nothing there but not sure if that was me(skill issue XD) or maybe a graphical bug. Nice game!

Developer

Hahaha yes, even some of my friends had that issue. I think I should move the camera or edit the colliders of the robots/bikes to make it cleaner. Thank you for your kind words and for playing the game! :)

Cool concept!

For some reason I can't see my player (browser version), so I had to kind of guess where he was, but other than that, very cool! ^_^

Thank you! Yeah, I think you should be able to see the character in either full screen or in the exe. Rather weird how there are a few people getting issues like that and some not. I think I need to check screen aspect ratios for the web gl build!

Cool 3D game! The web build works fine for me. It felt a little confusing as to why i was switching dimensions, and why i died sometimes when i did it. Definately fun though when you get the hang of it.

Thanks a lot! I’ve had a few friends actually go “what the– why did I die?” when they switched dimensions and crashed into a robot, mostly because they didn’t see there was a robot on the other side when they switched. I think this has to do with the camera angle and perhaps I should experiment/play test with the camera being in the center or having audio set up for the robots and bikes so you know there’s a robot or bike on the other side. Thank you for playing it though! :)

I think your web build might be broken? (no input+camera) and the .exe download seems to just give me an error ;(

Developer

Oh is it? Did you try on a different browser? I haven’t had anyone face an issue like that. Sorry!

It seems like ~90% of the time pressing W and S seem to do nothing at all with the dimension. The camera seems to be zoomed in very far too which doesn't make it easier to play. I know unity WebGL always loves to zoom games way in which is always super annoying. I tried it on opera and edge but it seems to have those same issues which is kinda a shame cuz the art does look really good

Developer

Sheesh, that’s super weird. Let me know if this works for you: https://play.unity.com/en/games/9c939391-9f91-45a5-87e6-335b981f5320/for-publishing

Developer

I totally messed up lmao, didn’t include the zip for the exe. My bad! Should be fixed now.
