Amazing mechanic, really well programmed. Grafics are nice aswell! The only thing I thought, that you could have implemented the theme/ limitation a bit more.

Keep it up!

Neat game, i like the concept of a "Snake - Roguelike". Great work

Very cool idea, the visual is great too.

The control is pretty hard, you can consider tone down the difficulty, I've heard somewhere on youtube you can put the difficulty at where you'd find too easy and a bit boring, that'd be the right difficulty for the player, also idk if it's just me but I took me a while to figure out that the empty hole was the opened door, I expected to open it myself or something.

The execution is great and the idea is unique, I think it'd be perfect if it's just a bit easier :D

Never played a rogue like snake game, very unique idea.

The visuals look great, the snake pixels are perfect. The music and sfx fit the game very well.

The way you implemented enemies is very unique and makes for fun combat, I imagine there's room for even more enemy types with different pathing and stuff like that, if you were to keep making this ofc.

I didn't really understand the coins though, because it seems picking them up increases length (which wasn't very desirable) and I didn't find a second use for them.

Thanks, glad you liked it. About the "coins", the idea was that the main objective of the game is to get as much points as possible, but in the first build, I hadn't time to make a best score indicator or something like that to make it more clear.

Really cool idea actually, but i struggled with the controls a bit at the start. also im not sure why you put the option to pay considering its a jam game. but overall pretty fun, solid

This is wonderful!

Gameplay is really fun and challenging. I loved bouncing of walls, and the mechanic of using the tail to kill enemies whilst protecting the head. The telegraphed movement of the enemies was great - gave enough information to allow for planning, but particularly as I got longer it was still plenty difficult!

The sacrifices were nicely balanced, and I love "It looks cool".

I adore the visuals - the one bit style is really well utilised, and the snake looks amazing for such a visual design! Kind of reminded me of those worm on a string things with the pointy tip.

I found an odd quirk where A and D are inverted compared to Left and Right arrows - easy enough to work around though as I could just switch to the arrow keys which worked as I expected.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it, and about A/D bug, for some reason, I didn't relize it was inverted, because I always tested it with the arrows, anyway, thanks for you review :)
