Really nice mechanic. Not sure if a bug or something but made it to negative 50 points haha
not a bug, you lose 10 points every hit you take
This was awesome! Really excellent use of the limitation to make interesting game play -the auto targeting worked really well and was very satisfying to play -awesome art and vfx -fantastic work on this!! :D
This game's really cool! The directional slash attack is well - implemented and the different enemy types were neat once I figured their weaknesses out.
Loved the aesthetics, the sound, and the overall presentation a lot! Great entry.
this is simply the best game here, no way it doesn't win :D
Wow
very impressive and satisfying
there is a huge difficulty spike after wave 8
I really enjoyed this game. I especially love the long line that appear when attacking.
it was good. I loved the aesthetics, the graphics were amazing and the audio was really satisfying and crisp. the music did end up getting pretty repetitive tho. the hitboxes on the small projectiles seemed to be a bit too big to me as well. other than that good game. really polished.
my goodness it's a finished game. Shovel knight (specter knight) mixed with hollow knight aesthetic mixed with dark souls locking mechanic (only slightly joking). It's crazy one person did this, what plugins (if any) did you use? How do you decide locking?
Thank you for playing! I did all the code myself, no plugins, just godot. For the locking I just keep a list of enemies that are within range (using Area2D node) and calculate the closest one
I think this is the game i appreciate more in this jam so far. Nothing to say, just sometimes in the chaos i lost my character. Fantastic game, nice art, nice music.
This is pretty decent game.
Graphics are neat and nice. Gameplay is addictive and exciting. I really enjoyed smashing that skull in the air!
Excellent job!
I think you're the only one who realized that they can only be killed by a certain angle xDDD. None of my friends got that.
I love this. It's really fun to chain together combos (although I'm not the best at it!). It's kind of hard to do the platforming challenge? in between waves, but it's still a really cool game!
A very cool project. I stuck playing it for about 30 minutes. I liked everything from game design to music.
Really love this game, the mechanics work well, the art and the music are pleasing, i like to dash to enemys and kill them with my sword, but unfortanly i need to take some points because of more that 3 inputs, but without being that, the game is amazing
I think you could earn full points in the "use of limitations" by transforming the volume buttons into a slider
A good entry, im going to donwload it because i really like it and i wanna play if im bored
Hm I opted to use f1 and f2 for volume because sliders are difficult to make, they have no other purpose. Anyway, thanks for playing!!
Yeah i understand, this limitations is bad and the theme too, so i understand
Everything about it is great! Really nice entry, good job :))
Really enjoyed the slashing, the game is well polished for a 48 hour game jam.
Overall nice job!
really fantastic project here , the music is so lovely- and the controls feel really good ! I'm sure you'd already considered it , but it'd be nice to be able to dash immediately after a jump so that you can do super fast combos . I'm sure there's a reason why you can't however . really lovely game !
It was faster in the beginning hours of development but it didn't felt too good so I smoothed it out. And thank you playing!
