I like the concept, especially the rewind but this game is HARD!  I'm pleased to see that I'm not the only one who kept getting the controls mixed up!

Submitted(+1)

I like how hard it was. kept getting the controls messed up but great job!

Great game, quite difficult at first but enjoyable. Nice use of limitation!!!

Really good platform. At first I had trouble with the controls. The game is quite hard!

Submitted(+1)

A really well done platformer. The redo function really worked well with the gameplay as you can undo past mistakes.

Developer

Thanks for playing and thanks for the kind words :))

This game mechanics are so clever! I originally wanted to make something similar (with the past self thing), but had no idea had to implement it or what the game would be like. It's so cool to see how well you implemented this idea! Very enjoyable, with a nice touch of challenge, and the art is beautiful. It's impressive that you've made all of this solo! Great job :D

Thank you very much, that means a lot! Glad you enjoyed playing :))

This was really awesome! With only 3 simple mechanics, you made some really fun puzzles! The one little improvement that might be nice is being able to restart or continue a level with the Z or X key so the mouse isn't needed at all. But overall, really awesome game!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah I'm definitely going to have to implement that, would fit with the limitation too haha

Really fun and difficult af, spent at least 10 minutes on the third level, lol, and I cheated on the 4th level xD.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Levels definitely need some tweaking haha

Pretty good game with neat mechanics.

Last level was a bit tricky (solved this with a bug exploit 😅).

I like mechanic of time travel, would be cool if you expand this mechanic.

In overall you did great job.

Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

The game is cool, interesting mechanics, the only thing I would like to change is the ability to restart on the Z key

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! Yeah that's definitely something I'll add if I revisit this one :))

Wow! Very cool game! The controls looked complicated, but the tutorial was very intuitive.

Developer

Thanks for playing! That's very nice to hear, glad you picked it up easily!

I liked this game! Personally I'm not very good at puzzle-y games, but I can tell a lot of work was put into this. I feel like you could change the restart key to Z though, since moving over to my mouse every time I want to restart a level is a little tiresome.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah I should probably change it to Z, would make a lot of sense :))

Neat puzzle with a nice twist to the "travel back to the past" genre. Wish the levels are a bit harder and utilize the gimmick more. Maybe something like locked doors or logic puzzles?

Found  a way to cheese through all of them but either way, really interesting concept!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I think when I increased the move speed a lot of how you complete the levels changed, but ah well. Glad you enjoyed!

Developer

I doubled the move-speed, speeds up the early sections but makes the later stages more difficult, but still possible. See what you think! :))

Submitted(+1)

Nice idea! I loved the tutorial but it really needs some movespeed, reading the comments slow movespeed is necessary for later levels, did not go that far but I think you could have a different movespeed per level for exemple.

Missing a jump means 10+ seconds of wait for the platforms and player to be in the correct position again.

I would say the mouse clicks make it more than 3 buttons, but this is a simple fix

Developer

Thanks for playing! I'll see what I can do with tweaking the move-speed per level, I agree it's slow at the start. Pure gameplay is 3 buttons so I'm letting it slide haha

Submitted(+1)

I really loved the level designs and the idea of incorporating time reversal was fantastic.

Great Job!

Developer

Thanks for playing, and I'm glad you enjoyed it, it means a lot! :))

Cool idea, and an original combination of things for the three buttons to do! You made some good puzzles with these mechanics, and the later ones definitely made me think. The player's move speed was definitely right for the later levels but a bit slow on some parts - I would say you could add a button to move faster, but that would break the restriction :) Maybe hold z to run? In any case, great work!

I hadn't heard of the website you got your sound effects from, I'll have to check them out.

Developer

Glad you enjoyed, thanks for playing! Holding z to run is a good idea, I'll remember that :))

I felt the walk speed was a bit slow which made missed jumps a little annoying. The art could be retouched but I get the time pressure working as a solo programmer and artist as I did the same thing as well ;). The concept is great and mechanics are good except for the slow walk speed.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Decided to make the walk speed slow because the later levels make it a bit difficult to time everything, but fully get where you're coming from :))
