The game is quite simple but still quite fun, very nice job

Developer

glad you had fun, Thx for playing!

I liked this :) very simply doodle jump-esque game. Sometimes when I was jumping through a platform all my speed just got dropped and I lost, so a fix for that would be nice. Also the enemies that fall sometimes fall right on you or near you, giving you no time to react, a warning above would have been nice. Good work though!

Developer

Yeah if you dont go completely through it sometimes you can hit the side of the one way platform from the bottom, but from testing found out  it usually happens when you jump horizontally and bonk your head.

Thought it would be funny if you randomly got smited, tested with a cousin and had a laugh.

Thx for playing!

Nice entry, it was really challenging, but if you don't care about the points one can just ride with a lift to heaven :D

It was a bit weird that sometimes you could go through platforms and sometimes it blocks you.

The thing I liked the most was presentation! I loved te mushroomy hell world and the use of paralax effect.

Developer

Frogs should go to their rightful place in heaven with or without effort.

it blocks you cause of a weird one way platform bug, if you bonk your head while trying to do a large horizontal jump, your momentum is stopped.

I liked it too! Inspired from the crimson forest in Minecraft.

Thank you for your Time!

Overall, the game is good but the controls are not responsive

Developer(+1)

like jumping  or horizontal, cause I thought it was pretty snappy.  I used Variable jump height, Instant horizontal velocity changes, and strong gravity, if you could explain what you think was unresponsive it would be a massive help.

Thx for the feedback!

Graphics are nice, and the frog jump has a nice bouncy feel to it. Like a previous commenter said, it was difficult to get a run going, but the momentum feels good when you can capture it for a moment. High score: 39

Developer

sorry I didn't have enough time to properly balance the difficulty curve, I was too focused on trying to make breakable platforms that split into a million pieces cause that's what my brain thought was cool at the time.

Thanks for playing!

I liked the art! The gameplay is pretty plain though. Also frog. Well done!

Developer

yeah ik but I usually like making these little score chasers.

Thx For Commenting!

Cute artstyle! The title also looks nice :)

Not being able to move while standing is an interesting quirk. I feel like the game is a tad too challenging on the first few playthroughs, maybe have the game start with a slower scroll for the first few platforms. I'd also keep a little bit of momentum to the frog's movement after you stop pressing, I think it would feel more satsfying.

Developer

Totally agree, but I ran out of time and I forgot about the difficulty curve.

I wanted the movement to feel snappy and responsive. so I zeroed out the velocity after releasing.

Thank you for Commenting and rating!
