This game is really fun. I liked having to time the aiming rather than aim manually with the mouse. Excellent oldschool aesthetic and was difficult without ever feeling unfair, every time I botched a jump I knew it was my own fault.

Great work.

like the mechanic of the games jumping takes a bit to get used to. kept getting to 11 meters and falling down to my death till I got the hang of the length of the arrow v.s jump strength good job to you and your teammate.

Developer

Haha thanks, yeah after the learning curve the game seems to be very easy! I could probably get an infinite score by now, my highest was close to 200 once. And it was just me, I made it by myself :)) But thank you!

ah I misread your team with me, yawmy I didn't really think that wait that is your user name so was just like me, other name means a team of 2. A inf score eh well if you had inf time for sure lol.

Interesting game, I think I have seen something like this before.

Developer

If you remember I’d love to know

I don't think I particularly remember but I think I've seen it. It's either the artstyle or the general mechanic I don't really remember.

I like the concept of player movement. The graphic and music is nice. It is a solid game. The game is challenging, what is good because like darqwerful say it easy to play hard to master :D

Developer

Thank you! The movement was actually my backup, I had something else planned lol. Glad you like the music, I didn’t make it but maybe in a future title. Good to know you liked the difficulty!

I really liked this game. It's one of those easy to learn but hard to master games that make you want to try them again and again. The graphics and sound are also very nice. Good job!

Developer

Hey thank you :) Glad you enjoyed it!

Very addictive game! I got a highscore of 75 so far:

I like how polished it is,  and I dig the 1-bit visuals. One cool thing I found about this is that we can't simply take our time to aim, since our health keeps ticking away. So I always on the edge, making lots of silly mistakes out of despair lol.

The only feedback I'd give is that I think platforms should be sticky (as in, it shouldn't be possible to slide off them when propelling ourselves at an angle). Other than that, the game is challenging but I think it is the right kind of difficulty - the one that makes me blame myself (and not the game) and try again.

Great job on this one!

Developer

Wow. Thank you :'') very valuable feedback, I am extremely grateful you enjoyed it! I definitely didn't hear the sticky platform thing for the first time, wish I thought of that lol. Happy to see someone tried to hone their skills too. :D

Good game. Although it is hard to adapt for: offset, additional forces and other small things it is interesting and fun and make me nervous:) For 3 days it's really great game.  Good luck!

Developer

Yeah movement is a bit janky for sure. Thanks for the feedback!

Great polish, the audio affects when jumping were a nice touch. Very challenging in a good way too. Only suggestion I would say is the bar at the top could be just a timer as I wasn't sure what it was at first

Developer

Thanks for the great feedback! I do kind of agree, the bar at the top was definitely lacking a bit, and it's supposed to be the motivating factor to move up xD Oh well. What do you think of the angle of the jump? It seems some people have troubles anticipating where the jump will lead them.

The game feels very polished. If this were an app on my phone, I would choose to play it before any other to pass some time. Great job!

Developer

That's very kind of you to say :) I might rework it and publish it on phones, who knows!

Haha, wish I could have made the sounds and music myself, but I'll get into that at another point. I do love my 1 bit style tho, simple but not easy to make! Idk if I'd count it amongst the best games of this jam but my goal wasn't perfection anyway.
