Use of the limitation
I'm not a native English speaker, so I interpreted it as the fact that the main character is not a hero in the sense that he is not a person, or something humanoid. And if we interpret the restriction as that we are a villain, then our task is to use people in our interests, for example, to go further, or just kill.

I liked the mechanic, about using the poison to stick on walls and ceilings, that was a really nice idea. I agree with some comments about the dying transition being faster since I died a lot, haha also the explanation for the purple shot was a little difficult to understand. But overall, it's a great game with a great level design. Good job!

Good game, interesting concept!

Alright I was raging the entire time while playing it, let me uncloud my mind before I start trashtalking the game...

ok long enough. The game was actually really fun and creative. The level designs are really cool, but there are a few blind jumps which I don't like. I don't really like the implementation of the theme because the killing humans bit feels kinda forced. you can easily beat the game without killing anyone, but the game forces us to. I really like the splatoon-esque poison shooting mechanic tho.

Also when I first started playing I played with arrow keys and pressing up to jump, but apparently that hasn't been coded in because I couldn't perform wall jumps with up arrow so I was stuck on the first jump for a while until I switched to spacebar.

I love level 2 when you have to strategically shoot slime to later parts of the level. My had to restart my PC, so I did not finish it. The art and the slime mechanics were so fun. Great job!

The second level, I think, is really not bad, there really needed to be thought about.

By the way, if you have completed the game, I will say that there is one more paint.

nice concept!

Thanks!

I reached level 3 before realizing that I could press [ E ] on those bottles to activate the checkpoint =D Struggled a lot before managing to beat it at the end:

I really liked the whole concept and how you explode and spread poison on walls when you die. One thing that would have been nice is faster death transition since I kept dying so much at the second level and the transition started to feel a bit long.

Very cool and enjoyable game overall. Nice work!

Yes. I made poison on death to simplify subsequent passages. On the one hand, this makes the game less hardcore, and on the other hand, it saves time and gives the player some indulgence. The transition after death should really be done quickly. Perhaps I will develop this idea. I just don’t know what mechanics to add, so that it would make sense to play for hours. I can add things from other platformers for example.

Thank you for rating!

The sticking to the wall mechanic was a cool idea.
Also it doesn't get more poison than being the poison itself as a character,
so props for that!

Developer

You haven't finished the game, I take it?

There is another paint. There are only 4 levels.

I know, but I got stuck at level 2.
I think I'm not really good at it.

Hard controlls, nice visual effekts - Like the Splurts on the wall and the screen effekt on a death is very nice too!

basic Gameplay well made, but controlls are  very hard

did I complete the game?: I did not. I played for a good 10 minutes. I tried very hard to beat the part with the three grindy spike gear things. But I died over and over and over. It was very hard.

what i liked: Before I got stuck at that part I really enjoyed all of the movement and the mechanic idea was very clever and cool. The look is very cute. I love how small it is and the little animation. I think this is a great idea for a game and would love to be able to finish it

what I would suggest: make it a lot less hard. and just add check points. If I didn't have to run all the way down there again I wouldn't have ragequit. (My game is similar and needs checkpoints also. I'm just not sure how to add them.)

overall: very cute game. Great look. Great mechanic idea. I'd love to see it expand. But it's way too hard.

There are control points, they appear on the second level. Those are the flask. If you touch them and press E, then you will be saved.

I see. I will play your game more. I am just bad haha

Developer(+1)

Don't worry, everyone I showed the game to got stuck at some point. I made too sharp control.

Nice job with the mechanics of the game and overall art, it looked great! The concept was slightly familiar and didn’t feel very inspired for the idea of “poison”. However, you really shined when it came to gameplay! Great job getting it put together so cleanly and smooth as you did in the allotted time!

Thank you! I know that I didn't make a very off topic game, however, I just needed an excuse to make a game like this and get people's reactions to an idea like that. In general, when creating, I was inspired by Apertrure tag, it also had similar mechanics, however, there were paints that accelerated and tossed, and they are for parkour. Thanks for the feedback!
