My game can't be available for download, but is playable from the game page.

I love the concept! So many layers to the game, and its enjoyable. I also love PICO-8 :)

I love this!

What an immersive game! I love this. 10/10

I love the art and the gameplay. My favorite game in this jam so far.

Such a neat concept. It's definitely a game of skill. I hope to get good at some point and experience the whole game. I like the levels I played so far.

I will wait to rate this game until I learn how to play. Great graphics though!

I love the graphics!

I like the player movement.

Fun concept! The state and collision programming also feel good.

Note: All sound effects and music were created and added on 05/29/2023.

WOWY-WOW!!! How can someone make a game like this in 3 days? I had so much fun. I'll probably play this some more later.

My favorite part was probably the card/turn based mechanics. I don't see a lot of games like that in these jams. Incredible job and I loved it.

I love the graphics and the stealth nature of the game design. Great job!

Neat mechanics! Controls felt very smooth. Great job!

I love level 2 when you have to strategically shoot slime to later parts of the level. My had to restart my PC, so I did not finish it. The art and the slime mechanics were so fun. Great job!

I love the plot and the sequencing. Great job!

Such a fun and quirky game! I love how all the walls/platforms have faces. Platforming was solid. And the level design was really good. I love the amount of levels made for such a short game jam. Great job!

I have too many favorites: Art, Animation, Platforming, and Story
This was a fun game to play. Great job!

Fun game! Love the platforming mechanics. There are so many levels, and each challenge is unique. I love the pacing of the game. Definitely a challenge. Good job!

I love the art and the level design. It's clear and concise. Good job!

Love the art and the mechanics. The controls are easy to pick up

The animations are so good! Oh my gosh. The mechanics for how the player moves is so fluid. I felt like I was picking it up quickly. Great job!

I love how the physics of the game adds some spontaneity to the game play. The graphics are great, and the music and sound effects are charming. Good job!

My favorite game that I've play in this jam so far. The animations were stellar. The beats were sick. The mechanics were fluid. Love it!

I love how the game switches from shooting to maneuvering tight paths. The sound effects and music are charming. And the animations are great. Solid mechanics. Good job!

I love the music. What a fun tune. The game play was lots of fun. I enjoyed the timing of everything and the graphics. I managed to get 70.9 % by mashing the a, d, left, and right keys. Great job!

The graphics and music are incredible. I'm a sucker for these aesthetics. The game play was lots of fun. I love the different types of cats and their behaviors changing around the line. Amazing job!

I love the art. The collision detection and enemy behavior are both solid. Great job!

Thank you for linking a screen shot! I will fix this bug later this week. Also, thanks for playing.

This game is so much fun and challenging. Great job!

OMG I LOVE THESE GRAPHICS!!! Reminds me of playing Nintendo DS. I like the creepy music too. Love the game-play.

Fun game! I love the lighting effects and the falling soot/snow. I think the difficulty seemed very fair.

Btw, I hate this game jam limitation. I like to make puzzle games, and most of the Mini Jam limitations typically imply a fighting game. I have to find interesting ways to incorporate these limitations. I wish they had genre-inclusive limitations.

Also, I am sorry for the losses in your country/community.

I thought the limitation was optional, I should have read the directions thoroughly.

I don’t intend on implementing any jam limitations to my gameplay for future game jams. I’ll probably just slip it in as a part of the narrative next time. It’s what I’m comfortable with at the moment, as PICO-8 is already a very limiting game engine.

Ya, that was the issue I ran into at the end of the jam. Lots of trial and only errors, I think my solution would require refactoring the entire project. I could only clear about 85% of the waves myself. Something I will have to consider early on the next time I design a rhythm game.
