Use of the limitation
World is on a grid but the building placement isn't. This opens up a wider range of gameplay possibilities, such as physics now affecting not only the placement of the buildings but afterwards the tower's balance as well.

Very cool game and good concept about just dropping buildings onto land, Great game
This is so good. Nice water + waves. Great that you made an "look from the sky" ambience sound. The game is so fun. The building as well a the breaking. Using that Physics system of Unity can lead to good results as I learned from this game. Good choice to make building cards cheap such that the player can mess around right in the beginning.
Congratulations for this awesome job.
The level of polish here is really impressive. I really like the core idea and the physics make it really amusing. I was very impressed with the graphics, but even more impressed by how when you zoom out the sound changes (a little thing maybe but often overlooked). I did experience some bugs including not being able to use the controls besides mouse the first two times I tried to play, but everything worked correctly the third time. My only real piece of feedback is I wasn't always super clear how i was paying for the buildings i heard a money sound but there never felt like any limit to my spending power. Overall, great job and i cant wait to see how you expand on it.
Simple yet polished is what I was trying to achieve I'm glad that I was able to do that. Thanks for that bug report as well I will look into it. Lastly, I'm thinking of overhauling the money to be more dynamic and intuitive as you pointed it can be unclear at times. Really appreciate the feedback, thanks!
This is so cute! I feel like I've never seen a city builder where you have to carefully stack stuff like Jenga. What a neat concept! Really relaxing too with the calming wave noises. Cool game!
fun concept, loved just dropping in building instead of the normal "click and build" great work
If you have time please check out my submission. any feedback would be greatly appreciated
Very sick game, i love it. Cant believe it was made for a jam. Great job, love the attention to detail!
Whoa! I loved the water effect, now I want to get into the water haha. I had fun playing it, trying to build cute buildings. I also love how the pieces get destroyed when you miss.
Really impressive for a jam game! It ran fine in my browser but my desktop PC is pretty strong. Loved that there are little people that populate the things you build and walk around. I think this could be fleshed out into something really interesting. Great job!
very nice game. I enjoyed the time I played it, and it amazes me this was made by 1 guy in 2 days.
Definitely well presented. The concept is stimulating and fresh even if it feels incomplete. I can imagine some systems that could make this more engaging:
If the thing is to make a challenge and tension from buildings accidentally clashing some time pressure could help. Cards could have expire counter from the moment of picking up, so building must be placed quickly.
I cannot currently see any incentive to stack towers, it seems more efficient to build flat (which is also more boring). I think stacked buildings could have some kind of income bonus.
I wish there were more drastically different blocks in terms of size/shape/aesthetic.
At the moment it's more like a chill idle game in this sandbox island. But I will definitely explore crafting a different mode that pushes the player to build faster and take more risk.
Adding a bonus for stacking towers could be really satisfying as high rewards comes with higher risks.
There are only a few blocks that is harder to balance and they only unlock late game. So having a more varied lineup of blocks earlier, could unlock different strategies and improve the gameplay.
All of them are great ideas really, thanks a lot!
Is a little laggy but the graphics and effects are really cool and think its a fun concept!
Looks like a fun game, but the web export has performance problems, unfortunately. (I'm getting like 0.5 FPS) If you could provide an executable as well that might run better.
I've built the game to run as an executable, but I made a last-minute decision to switch to WebGL. As a result, the game is not optimized for the browsers and I won't have access to the game files for some time so I can't provide the executable. Sorry about that!
Nonetheless, I'm grateful that you enjoyed the game. Thanks!
Initially, I planned to release an executable file, but at the last moment I decided to use WebGL instead for better accessibility. That's why it has performance issues. Disabling the ocean and clouds in the settings should help a little but I will definitely look into it as soon as I can.
I regret adding the watermark, as it bothers me as well when I play the game now.
Really thanks for your feedback!
