Use of the limitation
In this game you need to move while it's day and stop while its night. To move you should hold down the key Space and to stop you should release the key. Thus, light is the way!

Cookies eaten
I was eating a lot of M&Ms and drink a lot of tea :)

Cute entry! I liked how simple the main mechanic is, though I was wanting for more of an indicator of when it swaps to night. Nice work!

Cute game! It should not be tagged “Windows” or “Android” though, as there is now download available for those platforms. (HTML5/web is its own, separate platform that has nothing to do with those!)

On the gameplay itself: There’s no risk vs reward here. Because the changes are random and there is no transition period, players can’t react to anything. So the only reasonable way to play is to walk a foot or two, and then sleep through the rest of the day and the night. Opening up a short transition period and forbidding day-sleep would make people need to react, but that would come at the cost of entirely changing the feel of the game :c

For context, I reached “128 foots” without even looking at the game while scrolling through twitter on my phone, just paying attention to the changes in brightness in the corner of my perception. Didn’t lose, just closed the tab.

Interesting concept, highest score i got was 18
Took a bit for me to realize it was the space bar to move but it was still fun.

Fun and simple! It's a very nice one-button game. It is a bit luck-based, which makes for a fun risk/reward system, though it may feel unfair at times since there's no cue that night is approaching and it isn't consistent. Great use of the theme!

Cute and simple! Some kind of visual cue that night is approaching would have been nice (maybe the sky going pink like a sunset vibe, and the timing between sunset and night could be random each time, so there's still the element of trying to push your luck) so it's less random luck and more based on fast reaction time? I love the pixel art :)

Very cool concept! I would have preferred that you moved in the night and slept in the day because cats are nocturnal! But the art was very good and a Wizards cat is even better! Maybe Wizard cats aren't nocturnal after all.

Dont forget the theme of Jam. Theme - light is way, not darkness :D

The cat art was super cute! I died a lot in the beginning before I read the instructions. So, yeah, read the instructions, folks!

Got to 19 feet in a few minutes before dying, was pushing my luck too hard.
