This was a pretty cool experience, the presentation reminds me of Yume Nikki quite a bit somehow! I think it's the lamps, the cheery atmosphere contrasting with the dark, and the fear of what might be in it... Inspirational, for sure!

However, as regards that I do wish that there was something slightly unsettling in the dark that you had to avoid. But that's just me, really.

I do however have to say that the objective of the game feels like it's the game, the experience itself, like something like Flower. But like Flower it's simply good, so it was a joy to play.

Great lil experience, gave me some stuff to think about!

Really love this and the style. I wish it had some sense of progression or difficulty shift? maybe a darker environment, maybe bigger mazes or multiple kids you have to lead, etc.

Great introduction to the concept!

I enjoyed the vibes. Solid intro. Good mechanics on the fairy movement and audio choices. I originally thought I was going to be leading a group to safety but having lead just the one was better. I think having some enemies that distract you from your task of guiding could be a good element! Use of limitation was great too B) Great job

The art style, effects and animations were all well done! It would be fun if you could add some other objective or mechanic in the game, but I really enjoyed it anyway :)

lovely game, i found the art charming and the gamelay smooth : the overall vibe is very relaxing and some sprites are really cute such as the fairy on the title screen! one of my favorites from this jam, cool concept !

I really liked this game! It’s really relaxing and cozy and the color choices really evoke that nostalgic “early morning” feeling rather than a “spooky” pitch-black night.

Despite the art being simple, it was really expressive in the important parts. Some things I can appreciate are: the running back animation(it’s cute), and how the light sprites slowly pulsed. The aliased borders of light overlays give it an aura-like feeling; was that intended? It serves it’s job really well~

One thing I think you could do that would be interesting is, since the concept centers around you taking them back home, maybe you could have a drawn paper map the player could reference?

Nice job!

This is probably the longest comment I got out of all the others (not a bad thing, I really appreciate the fact you left a comment at all, it means a lot!)
This is my first Godot game, and I'm happy that the palette I chose to use gave the cute, cozy vibe I was going for.
The aliasing on the lights seems to be only a thing with the web build.
I have no idea why it does that, but I'm glad it didn't affect your experience with the game in a bad way.

Adding a map is an interesting idea, but I don't think a tiny fairy would be able to hold it with no arms.
Maybe the child can hold it or something, I'll need to brainstorm about that if I decide to include it in a future update.
But I do think I just need some more practice making mazes because I don't think I'm very good at it right now.

Thank you for the comment, I'm glad you liked the game!

The art is cute and the concept orginial. I loved it.

Very nice, but a bit repetitive, felt the need for some kind of challenge or story development.

Awesome!

Love the game concept! A little repetitive especially since I have to move my mouse so slowly, but loved the idea, the music and the execution!

Very cute. I love the music and the title splash art, the little fairy character is very wholesome also.
