Software used
Godot 4, Aseprite, rFXGen, and cc0 music from OpenGameArt.org (music credits are in game)

Use of the limitation
You play as an RC Car with limited battery charge. Movement, jumping and taking damage reduce your battery. Use of the theme ended up being rather light (movement battery drain tick is a timer). In later stages there are also moving platforms on a timer.

The most polished game i played in this jam. 10/10. The graphics and music are amazing. Very good game.

This game is a legendary example of how to introduce a tutorial. The game is SUPER smooth to pick up, learn, and play thanks to how you designed the progression of levels. Love the graphics and soft color palette. Everything is super readable, love the mechanics and the sheer amount of levels is mad impressive! Awesome work

Everything is well polished, right down to the transitions between levels and the choice of the palette, even the boot splash. Perfect entry!

Very impressive entry, congrats!

This game is fantastic. I had a blast. The rc car being able to jump like a frog cracked me up.  The game itself feels so polished with great transitions that encouraged me along the way :P

Nice game, impressive for a 3 day jam.

I really like the concept and the "game feel" is really good too!

This is an absolutely crazy amount of levels for a 3 day jam, I have no idea how you managed to do this! There's a really good amount of mechanics to keep things fresh through the levels and some of the levels have a nice bit of challenge to them! I managed to get through all of them and the interactive credits screen at the end is a nice touch! Awesome choice of music and I dig the art style.

Some things I think that could be improved are: the animations for the car could be a lot more pronounced, some squash and stretch while it moves and jumps or maybe having the antenna wave in the wind would be nice. A sign telling you that you can drag the boxes on the first level they appear. I wish I could've used the arrow keys instead of WASD for movement, it felt kinda awkward to use my left hand to move the character.

Overall tho, this is a really awesome jam entry. Great job!!

Developer

I totally forgot about mapping arrow keys as an alternative to WSAD. I will update the game after the voting period ends.

About the missing tutorial for boxes.. At the beginning I just made springs, spikes, ice floor and tar floor, then created few levels. Few hours later I realised "this is boring". So I added next stuff, few levels later I got bored again, and added something new again. That's why there is no tutorial for buttons, platforms, doors and boxes. On my checklist "make tutorial" was already ticked off when I created those new mechanics.

Developer

I have now released update 1.0.1, that adds arrow keys support and few more tutorials (one of them explains boxes).

so much playtime in this one :0

levels 24 and 25 were really challenging but im glad i got through them

This game is literally underrated WOW! I played all of the levels, and enjoyed the game a lot. The mechanics were very cool, and I liked that you continued to introduce new mechanics through the entire game.
