I wasn't expecting to play pin ball today, it's cool and a change from the usual :)
A few ideas for improvement: add points visually when I tap on an object, make the screen shake when I do little combos, add two balls at the same time... :)
A little extra music would be nice.
And the controls were easy to get to grips with.
If you could try and rate my game, I'd be grateful!Nice game. The pinball responded nicely. It's just lacking the classic hectic arcade music. Nice work!
I enjoyed the controls, and felt that the ball moved generally how I expected it would, but I had a lot of unlucky bounces! Great job.
Nice! I loved your art work, it was super clean. The game feels really smooth. I liked the flashing effect when you hit an obstacle - you could really amp it up like real-life pinball machines with a ton of flashing lights and sounds. Good job!
Thank you! :D
Reminded me so much of the pinball game on Windows XP 😀
Was fun and loved the sound effect and the push back effect when scoring points.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed this game :D
The return of a classic with particular attention paid to the physics of the game, good job !
Thank you! :D
i enjoyed your rendition of pinball, great job on your game! the color palate works nicely, the blue and grays go well together. i thought the paddles had a good weight to them and the physics of the ball were pleasing on the eye. the bumpers lighting up when hit was a nice touch too. just curious from your page description, what other features would you have added if you had more time?
edit: also i agree with the other comment that your theme application was a bit of a reach xD
Thanks for your detailed feedback!
I originally wanted to have more kinds of bumpers and a bigger playfield with layers. I also wanted to include some kind of 'boost' pads that would have given the ball different effects (some ideas were speed boost, invincibility, or a random bounce value). The bumper hit effect should also have been enhanced with a small particle effect. Lastly, I wanted my playfield to fit the theme better. I envisioned a flooded world (so the 'no green' limitation is checked) with a few last skyscrapers reaching out of the water
Ah the mind numbing joys of pinball as the world around you falls apart xD
as all things should be 😌
Throwback to a classic. You had a clear game concept and executed it well! I would try and incorporate more of the theme/limitation into the game itself, currently it is mainly being shown through the game description. But by itself this is a fun game. Great work.
Hey, thanks for the feedback! I also think that the implemantation of the theme/limitation could have gone better :D
A fun game, I hope this experience will help you in the future.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the game. I think this was a really good exercise for me :)
