Why are they not fighting?

I'm dragging the guy, but they just come closer and hug each other(????)

Best game i've tried of the submissions! nice job. Big potential with this game

What exactly is the lose condition? My fighters were fighting and punching highly motivated and out of nowhere the game told me I lost?

Took me a while in the beginning to figure out what I am supposed to do. Player and Enemy were spawned at the same position and didn't do anything.

The ambience sounds work out great.

Really liked the comments from the spectators. As already mentioned from others, sometimes they get stuck in each other and dont attack, tho it can be fixed by dragging. Sometimes I got to the loosing screen while having gladiators alive. Still had a great time with it!

Really liked this one, super clean and very satisfying to play c: The audio was super nice too, great work!

Cute pixel graphics style, clean palette. Wish I could see health and stats of the gladiators so i know what upgrades to choose

Developer

Thank you! Yes, you’re right that the health bars could’ve helped! Anything else you’d like in a post jam version?

Great game! Its surprisingly well made for the time. The crowd and blood stains really sell the gladiator theme

Developer

Thank you! So glad you liked it! Other than some of the key bugs found already, any feedback you’d like to add in a post jam update?

Submitted(+1)

That was very fun, stacking all you gladiator to get them fight in 20 vs 1 is perfect!

At first I though it was bugged, but I moved the gladiator and the game started to work.

Nice graphics and blood effects :D!

Yeahhh the A* was definitely slapped together way too fast and doesn’t work the best, number one on the postjam list!

I restarted a bunch but I couldn't get it to work, best I managed was 20 points but the little guys just always end up standing on top of one another not attacking. I choose to read this as a poignant critique on the futility of violence, great job!

Ahahha thanks for the positive outlook on the game! PS. you can drag and drop units around

Developer

Thank you! That means a ton ahhaha

Developer

Ahahahh mine too! Haven't done one for a jam so I decided to go for it with this one!
