Such a FUN game! Very impressive for just 32 hours!
Got a score of 1440 points!
Really enjoyed the game, got the hang of it after stumbling in the beginning. Great job!
I got to 2700 in the arcade mode. The game looks and feels very good for the amount of time you had to work on it.
I will agree with what another commenter said in that it would be great if the tutorial was more diegetic instead of just some text and screenshots, but hopefully that can be added in the future. It would have also been nice to have the option to return to the menu instead of just retrying, or the ability to quit make to the menu while playing.
I also think the game shouldn't end right away when you run out of resources if there are still shapes that haven't been scored yet, but it's not really a big issue.
I also managed to glitch the paper in two different ways in the arcade mode. Placing a shape that was about to disappear made it that no new paper automatically appeared, and I had to manually get a new one by pressing the toss out button. The amount of paper I had was also able to go negative, which also made it so new paper would not appear unless I used the toss out button. Again, neither of these were big problems while playing, but I figured it would be something you would want to address.
Someone had to do this and you did it awesome!)
One of my favorites! I hope you expand on it later. Really impressive given the time constraint.
Wow I really love this! Its extremely polished and addictive too! At the beginning it was a challenge but I started getting the hang of it and it was really smooth!
Great and surprisingly polished for such limited time for development.
The music and sound effects are great!
The only thing I find a bit strange is that it's harder in the beginning and gets very easy after some time (fewer shapes start to fall)
I liked this game, while I don't usually play casual games, it was nice after a weekend of coding
It's fun, but sometimes it's a bit hard.
Like the concept, visuals are nice and polished, love the folding mechanic! Tutorial is also welcome, would prefer though if it was built into the game scene instead of screenshots with descriptions but it's understandable why it was easier to implement it like powerpoint slides.
I have no idea how you managed to do that in time. Great job!
One weird thing I had is that in this arcade mode papers are going really fast at first, making it a real challenge, and then they get progressively slower and just less shapes needed to be done overall, so the difficulty decreases
Apologies, I was tweaking the speeds/spawns in the final hours trying to get it just right and struggled to find a balance. I appreciate you comment though and glad you enjoyed it :)
this is the game I would have made if I had mad skillz like you, well done bro
