Thanks for the feedback. in the description of the itch.io page of the game we mention that the goal is to escape trough 5 rooms to escape the facility and win.

Yea we made the aim be without a mouse/cursor/crosshair because it got tricky due to the isometric view. Since the character can only shoot horizontal any point that you could click which is higher or lower would have caused the bullets to go into a visually different direction than intended. So instead we quickly made a aim method which tries to simulate a controller right joystick for aim where it just takes the last direction of mouse movement and rotates the player in that direction.
Regarding the Health there is currently no way to heal, that's by design to make it more difficult.

Thanks for the feedback! Yea we didn't have time to polish the movement and aim as much as we wanted to.

Thanks for feedback! Yea we haven't gotten the movement and aiming where we wanted it unfortunately. Though the game does have a objective, not mentioned in game explicitly, but in the description we mention that you have to escape trough 5 doors to escape the laboratory complex and win the game!

Love the hand drawn art! Gameplay is fun and challenging. Wish it had a bit more post processing and custom lighting to make it a bit more moody and make it feel less raw. But other than that loved it!

Love the art style! though i struggled to figure out how to properly play the game unfortunately haha

Cute. Like the vibes. Movement was a bit too fast and is missing some Wile E. Coyote style forgivness when moving off a ledge before hitting jump haha

Really liked it actually. Never played anything like it before tbh. Would love it there was more complexity to the environment so that one had to sneak more and choose from multiple paths. I kinda cheesed it a bit by just hugging the left wall and going forward until i trigger the next statues. Wish there was some more open areas where if careful one could avoid triggering any while making their way through a group of statues.

Visuals and SFX are on point. I honestly didn't know how to get past the first enemy unfortunately haha was a bit confused by the controls too

As like any reverse bullet hell i like the gameplay haha could have used some sound effects though

Interesting and unique interpretation of the limitation.

Love it. The visuals and feel of the game is great. The pixel art mixed with the bloom and post processing really creates a unique vibe. The gameplay is really precise, struggled to hit stuff tbh haha

I think i might be missing the point of the game. I like the graphics though, the sounds were a bit too much but not unusual for monsters :D

I like the stylize graphics. Gameplay was a bit wonky, feels like i gut stuck in some animations at times.

Loved it. Feels great to play. Nice visuals, chill music. Like the spin on the genre where the enemies keep respawning but stronger every time.

Love the visuals and vibe. Reminds me of Nintendo DS games back in the day. Feels like it would play well with a stylus ;D

Yea we only had two days to work on it so the gameplay is lacking a bit of depth.

Yup agree completely! Unfortunately we could only put in 2 days of work out of the 3 day jam so unfortunately development of the Gameplay suffered a bit.

Love it all around, from visuals, use of theme and use of limitations. Audio was a bit stuttery, might have been due to my browser though.

Love the visuals and feel of the game. Boat is nice and difficult to control haha Sounds could use some mixing/mastering, for my tastes the music was a bit too loud.

Liked the folding! Wish there was more such paper interactions

Uuuu love the visuals of the game! and the house having a inside and a fading outside is very nice.

Love the visuals! Wish there was some sort of simple hit indicator, struggled to hit enemies without loosing health since there is no range indicator or hit feedback.

Like the concept, visuals are nice and polished, love the folding mechanic! Tutorial is also welcome, would prefer though if it was built into the game scene instead of screenshots with descriptions but it's understandable why it was easier to implement it like powerpoint slides.

Yup we were planning to add the capability to forgive a few wrong letters, or for the player to have a health bar and to hurt him every time he finishes a word with some wrong letters, but unfortunately we didn't get to it in time.

Thanks! Really glad you like it. A lot of time in the last two days was spent stylizing the models and making a custom paper craft shader.

Glad you liked the graphics and folding! Half of the work was spend on stylizing the models in blender and via shader, hence we were missing time to polish the gameplay to the level we wanted. The idea of the dungeon changing as one gets deeper sounds great! For sure would be a great addition. When it comes to saving progress we for now intentionally made it more arcade-y and more like a insta-death roguelike.

Yup, half of the time was put in to stylizing the models themselves and making a custom paper texture shader with creases on the edges to make it look like they are PaperCraft creations. Gameplay wise we wish we had another day to polish it out and make it more interesting.

Aeroflora Expansion: Immerse yourself in a tranquil experience where the ever-changing wind, adhering to the game jam's theme of "Wind" and "Constant Change" limitation, unpredictably influences the flight paths of balloons and the direction of seed dispersion. Players cultivate a vibrant landscape through the gentle art of balloon-spawning and seed-sowing, where the unpredictable wind adds a layer of dynamic strategy to the serene gameplay. The game also enchants with relaxing ambient farm sounds and adaptive wind sounds, enhancing immersion as they react to the wind's intensity and direction in-game. Embrace the fluidity of nature as the wind, visually represented by the windmill's rotation, becomes a pivotal element in achieving optimal balloon deployment and creating a flourishing landscape.
Controls:
Left Click on the barn to release balloons, and Left Click on each balloon to release seeds that blossom into lush flora upon descent, all while the wind's whimsical shifts challenge your planning skills. Navigate the environment with intuitive camera controls: left-click to move, scroll wheel to zoom, right-click, and middle-click to rotate around focal points.

Thanks for the feedback! Yea it's explained a bit on the page of the game, but i just realised that people can download it directly from the game jam entry without ever reading the description

This is my friend and mines first game jam entry. We went for a cozy chill ambient game where one plants flowers via balloons that drift in the wind and disperse seeds.
