I know it has been said, but wow, what a cool concept!
The concept and idea is incredible ! The graphics are on point too !
If you plan to developp this game further, I'd suggest to add dumb levels for people to grasp the concept of each glyphs one by one.
Cool idea and GREAT visuals. It was pretty hard to get to know the controls. The arrow keys are kinda redundant tho because the player can use their keyboard's keys. Really really impressive game considering it took 3 days to make. Would love to play this again when it's easier to understand and more developed. Nice job!
Visually stunning!
I can see how going for a game with a code editor can be a huge trap in a 3 days jam, but you have a very solid base with the input and general game aesthetics, you should iterate over it!
Will definitely play this again when I can actually figure out what to do haha, scrolling through the instructions gave me a heart attack! Art is fantastic, would love to give this a proper go if it gets updated :)
Love the art and the idea sounds really cool. I'd like to see it finished someday!
Love the music and artwork! Maybe could have used a tutorial level, but has really good potential!
thanks! if i do get to continue and finish this, the levels might start with basic instructions and introduce them gradually, which I think would fit the place of a tutorial for introducing the player gradually to the glyphs.
Although the game is incomplete the idea is pretty cool, great design skills!
The instructions are overwhelming, though. I'd suggest to make more simple the use of glyphs that translate to code, maybe when you hover the mouse there is a little explanation?
definitely agree on the instructions. The plan was/is to have the discovery process happen with the player.. so there is story about finding the glyphs, and a limited set of instructions/examples for a level, which ends up building up to the full set. I wrote out the instructions just for an overall idea of how things work, especially when I knew I probably wouldn't be able to get a working demo of actually running the instructions in time for the end of jam.
