The concept was pretty interesting, and I liked the sound effects! The amount of XP to level down felt kind of high for me, but it was still fun to figure out the weaknesses and immunities of the enemies. It might be cool to have a random enemy be unable to fight for a short time, so the player might be unable to continually repeat a strategy. Good job!

The concept is really cool, but I did feel that the amount of XP you have to get rid of was pretty high, considering the most I found I could lose was 1,600. I did like the sound effects and the art, and it was interesting that you made multiple types of moves and attacks. Good work.

Yea. Adjusting the experience required each level was a challange. The idea is that on the first level you would need a lot cause its the first curve. To learn the mechanics, you will get to know and explore the opponents, explore your skills, and then, find a way to grind efficiently, and then grind. If the XP required for the first level was too low, this curve could end prematuraly and you would take out you a skill you are not familiar with. The second curve is just grinding and taking out skills you don't use. Then the last is just trying to keep yourself alive.

But yea, you're not the only one complaining about the grind on the first levels haha. I think It could be a bit smaller. But in my mind i thought that farming the dragon 10 times wasn't too much for the first level.
But yea, thas for the feedback!

Ah, I think I somehow missed the dragon and went over every other enemy, which is why I thought 1,600 was the most XP you could lose. For sure though, I know balancing is tough, especially when you're under such a tight deadline and you have a million things to do.

Developer

Yea. And i started one day late haha.

Nice game! It was pretty easy to get the hang of, and finding out the best ways to farm each enemy were nice too. One thing I'd say is that the (de)levelling requirements felt too high - even if I just farmed dragons over and over, it still took quite a while. Still, you did a good job!

The bug thing got farmed a lot whenever I needed a heal lol. Funky little game, great work!
