I really like the graphics and the music. The combat and events are pretty nice too. I feel as though you could make this into some really interesting story game about being a pirate or something like that. Good job!

An amazing game with so much depth in combat mechanics! In the first half of my playthrough i didn't even realize that you can move your own ship (so... a tutorial would be great). Also, the clicks on the map feel really slow(maybe add some sound when you set a destination). The atmosphere and random events on the map are great!

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. To be honest I couldn't get the map working right and its an awful amalgamation of patchwork I need to redo it, the buttons for controls are as well I think I should do a UI overhaul at the very least the back end of it as its not nearly as responsive as I would like. Thank you for your input!

Really stunning graphics and I'm very impressed with how much you got into this game in such a short time! I really enjoyed playing it and with more content and polishing of controls, this would be a really great full game!

Graphics and music are amazing! Gameplay is a bit weird, though. Maybe I'm missing the reads, but it seems like you have absolutely no time to react to enemy shots and it also doesn't seem like there's a certain point in time where they target your ship, so I just felt like whether I got hit or not was completely up to chance. Also, actually aiming with this system is very tough. I feel like if you tighten up the controls a bit and add some reads to your enemies, this could turn into a pretty fun game.

Simply amazing, I love it.

also I must apologize for cheating through my first playthrough.
(If you press the game speed button when the map appears and then click on the enemy ship icon the game instantly say VICTORY and lets you skip the entire fight)

The game is amazing considering that it was made in only 72 hours. The art music and concept are all fantastic.

Aesthetics wise this game is beautiful. loved the art and the music, and the idea is fantastic. kinda hard to tell when I've hit the enemy's ship, but other than that It's a really great game!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I have this odd system in the background where the cannons basically won't detonate unless they've traveled enough vertical distance to try and mimic the illusion of vertical distance. Two of the problems I had with this is I never explained properly how it worked in the game and I never added a splash to the cannon balls when they hit the water so they just look like they're randomly missing. But it's on my to-fix list!

It's looks just amazing! Well-developed and not overloaded visual, excellent content with both gameplay and graphics. Everything looks very solid and interesting.Super! I hope the project will develop.

Thank you! This has been my favourite project so far and I think I will develop it some more I at least want to add all the little things I missed like some more events, an intro story, and a proper ending.

This game was really promising! The art, music, and conversation really reeled in the engagement! I love the design for this idea and how it was made. Although, I don't think this makes use of the limitation since the sea is part of Earth. But, overall, everything was amazing!

Developer

Thanks! I had this whole story intro I was going to make where basically you drowned and you were now exploring this place where there was no land just sea and it was a sort of afterlife but I had some feature creep going on and never got around to implementing it.

Well done! :D

I love the pixel art and I think the music fits with the game really well. I also think the implementation of the map is very cool because it allows the player to choose their own path.

I found some bugs where the end seems to glitch, don't know if anyone else had this problem. Also if you start a battle and before pressing the text you press the speed button, you instantly win. But these are small things an overall a cool game. Also, I don't really understand how this game meets the limitation.

Developer

Thank you! I never thought it was going to keep interest long enough for someone to finish it so I have to get the ending going. I over-planned way to many things for this including a story where the world is basically one giant ocean and its the afterlife so I guess I missed the boat on the limitation.

Outstanding game. Reminds me of FTL. The art is top. One of my favorites so far!

Developer

Thanks! It was inspired by FTL, Chrono Trigger, and Death Road to Canada. This has been my favourite game I've made to date and I think I might actually do something with it.
