Use of the limitation
We made elemental dice with 6 different elements. The element of your spells changes depending on which elements the dice show. The player and enemies can turn the dice once whenever they touch them.

How was your experience with Mini Jam?
This was our first time joining. We liked the limitation on short notice. It's nice that it's not just a single word, but a gameplay element. The topic was a bit difficult, but we're glad that it's optional.

I enjoyed this game a lot! It's pretty difficult the first time playing, but once you get used to the order of the elements it gives a pretty cool experience of trying to get the right element and shooting an enemy quickly before multiple can spawn. It feels like you're doing quick paced puzzles with bits of platforming mixed in. Nice work!

Enjoyed this one - I especially liked taking time to line up a shot only for another enemy to drop in and change one of the dice, forcing me to adapt plans on the fly, it was a nice touch letting enemies affect them too.

This is really hard, but it's a cool idea! I think the dice system was maybe a little over-complicated. You could make them into single use power-ups that maybe would give you a random power and that would make it a little more accessible. Nice job overall!

Cool game, I like how the dice are implemented with the elements. Its like a mash up of a puzzle and an arcade game. It allows for a lot more strategy than just rolling a dice for your element. It was kind of hard to manage all all the enemies since your shots could be eaten by enemy mismatches. The enemy drawings were cool and scary.
